I was deeply outraged by the attitude of the young man at your hotel’s reception towards my family. I specifically booked a room for one night (in fact, only from 05:00 to 12:00) for €250 so that my wife and our two small children could get some rest after a long 24-hour journey from Kyiv without proper sleep or rest. The receptionist (unfortunately, I do not know his name) responded by saying that they were “very lucky” and that he would allow my wife to bring the children (!) with her into the room. Even worse, he forbade two other women — my wife’s friends, who were also traveling with children — from even entering the room I had paid for. What kind of disgraceful and disrespectful treatment of guests is this?

The hotel buffet food was some of the best that I have ever had. The food was fantastic. The Master Chef and his staff did such a great job cooking different items every day. The hotel spa was also well worth it. Spectacular sunsets.

The Half board does not allow free soda's, you have to pay for them if you want a soda at any of the bars. If you want all drinks, you will have to pay for all-inclusive. The hotel is not close to Rethimno. It was stormy weather so not much to do outside.

We really liked the food at the main restaurant, especially the dinner. Our teenage son enjoyed different activities and animation. The hotel's grounds are very well-maintained and offer breathtaking sunset views.

The room was quite outdated. The water in the toilet was running nonstop. When we asked to move to another room, our request was refused. We had to wait till the end of the weekend to get the toilet fixed. Other things that we did not like included extra charges for soft drinks during dinner, although we were at HB. The poor quality of coffee and other drinks and beverages.

6 pools to choose from! Easy to get around even though it's a large hotel. Lots of ramps for pushchair access. Very family friendly. Staff were incredibly nice and helpful. Very clean everywhere. Bars at almost every pool area and food is never far away. Drinks were lovely and not watered down like a lot of holes! Refurbished bungalow was much nicer than expected. Kids entertainment was good Mini shop on site for all the bits you might have forgotten.

My only gripe was that we arrived on Wednesday for 5 nights and all of the restaurants were already fully booked so we could only eat dinner at the main buffet. This didn't matter too much to us but it might to others. Although the pools don't open until 10am, everyone puts their towels out way before this and so we had to take a 'if you can't beat them, join them!' approach otherwise we would have never found loungers by the pool we wanted but then again we were also in a fairly large group so I'm sure others might not have a problem!

The best part of our stay was the staff! We got all the information we needed. Sometimes you could sense, that they were tired, but even then they were helpful beyond expectation. You need to make a reservation for dinner, in all 3 restaurants, but you can also enter without a reservation to the main restaurant (if it's not full). They have 3 main beaches for swimming, the one on the left was our favorite. But It was not so easy to find a free sunbed. Also 5 pools, 1 for kids and 1 inside-pool, which was not open during our stay. But main pool was enough for us. As It's described in its name, view was insane!

Despite being told not to reserve the sunbeds, there are still many guests who are reserving them and returning within an hour or more. The rooms looked older than the general hotel and the soundproofing was very poor. You could hear the sounds of talking and flush from the next room.

I loved the location right on the ocean. They upgraded me to a bungalow that had spectacular sea views, which I enjoyed immensely.

It was jam packed with people who just parked themselves by the pool or beach and kept their spot for the entire day. I was hoping to use the beach as well as the pools, but I had to stay put on the beach because there were no spots by the pool. It could also get loud with people partying by the pool. Also, the food served - cafeteria style - was okay, at best.

Everything about it was exceptional. The surroundings full of nature. The palm trees everywhere. The cleanness. The choice of food. The location beside the sea.

No provision of an iron , which I thought that was a bit off to pay extra money for the laundrette to iron for people. The spa (sauna and jacuzzi) guests have to pay extra to use them. Some Iberostar hotels eg in Marbella and Marlloca , the spa could be accessed by anyone. There are water activities, such as water gym but a physical gym should be present for those guests you can’t use the pool as the gym.

-the cleanliness of the rooms, pools, restaurants. -clean, modern bathroom. -we also appreciated a lot the staff, very courteous, helpful and friendly. -a lot of options for breakfast, lunch, dinner. -the fact that there is a minimarket at the resort. -the fact that there is a bus stop just outside the hotel and car rental options at the hotel (we chose Arkadi and everything went smoothly). -it is a calm resort with a lot of greenery surrounding it, perfect to hide from the sun. The outside is magnificent and well maintained.

-the furniture in the rooms (wardrobe, desk, nightstand, chairs, sofa) and in the lobby (sofas) are in a dire need of a change. Old and not comfortable. Ancient safe. Ancient key system. -poor sound insulation in the rooms. -carton orange juice for breakfast was a big disappointment. Instant coffee at the coffee machines instead of using coffee grains, another disappointment for a 4* hotel. -despite the fact that clients are asked not to reserve sunbeds, there were people placing their towels early in the morning, especially at the coves where there are limited sunbeds anyway.

Food was very oily The water they served tasted bad The food labels do not show the whole ingredients list, and some of the dishes didn’t have any label - that makes it hard for people with different allergies to find proper dishes. - I had to talk to the chef at every meal

Great Staff! They were absolutely amazing! Going out of their way to make us comfortable and help us have an enjoyable stay. Place was clean, food was lovely! View and and the place is beautiful.

They didn’t reply to my emails before our stay. I didn’t enjoy the cocktails and the juice you get in your all inclusive is poor quality other than the breakfast juice (except for the peach juice).
