The host was very accommodating and the location is fantastic. A short walk into Sisteron, with stunning views it was a pleasure to walk around the grounds. Numerous cats and two gorgeous large dogs added to the experience. One of the best breakfasts we have ever had in France.

Nothing to dislike

The old family house is in a wonderful position on the bank of the river overlooking Sisteron. The host and her daughter were charming and the whole experience was memorable. My raspberry tartine for breakfast was a delightful extra! Overall it was like going back in time, it was a brief but memorable stay. We found a picture of the Citadelle at Sisteron painted from exactly the same spot on the riverbank we sat outside the Chateau de Cazette. Thank you for making us so welcome and for making our dinner reservation.

Breakfast was excellent, Madame was very helpful and a fun lady to chat to and she has a beautiful home. A very traditional French Chateau decorated with beautiful antiques but with modern bathrooms. It has the most stunning view of Sisteron and the Citadel on top of the cliff. Perfectly located and very easy to pop into town ( beautiful place to visit) for restaurants and sightseeing.

Driveway is very poor and bumpy for a low car. Madame has two large dogs one of which is quite nervous and barks a lot and not friendly, this was quite off putting, she did put it away but it was outside when we arrived. 50 cats at the last count and two horses - all outside though!

the friendly reception from the hostess, a family like feeling . The chateau like building, the furniture, the view, the breakfast, all beyond expectation.

Fantastic traditional French chateau! Great welcome, with complementary drinks in fridge… view of Sisteron and river was crazy, best view ever had from hotel balcony!!!

Superb location, wonderful view on the river and the "Citadelle". Warm welcome and delicious breakfast. Our host gave us good tips for restaurants and things to see and visit.

Living in a nicely renovated castle. Very friendly owner. The great place, view and owner make you easily look over the little glitches such a historic building has.
