Excellent Location – Convenient and close to everything you need. Clean and Comfortable Room – A well-maintained space that makes your stay pleasant.

Breakfast could be improved – You would have liked more hot food options, such as sausages. Bed sheets were different from what you’re used to – This made it a bit less comfortable. Pillows were too soft – You prefer firmer pillows for better support.

The room was immaculate, spacious and they even accommodated my need for a study space with a desk and reading light etc. Our room was cleaned everyday after permission was given when we were down at breakfast so we were never disturbed. Staff were so friendly and happy to help and accommodate in any way they could. Breakfast was fresh and delicious and the staff remembered our drinks order and brought it to our table on arrival. This will be our third stay and I’m sure we will be back again soon.

Fantastic breakfast, the room we had was large and the bathroom was super clean. Our room looked over the main pedestrian street but was incredibly quiet. Walking distance to everything we needed, the main bus station and the train were only a very short walk from the hotel. Staff were lovely and super helpful.

I would definitely stay here again, we had nothing we didn’t like.

On my 10 day road trip to and from Denmark, across Holland & Germany, this hotel was the best I and my Co-driver had experienced. None of the other hotels provided bath mats, which are essential when one does not wish to fall being >75 years old. Thank you Hotel Freyr.

It was a hot night and no air conditioning but a fan which I ran all night.

The hotel is located very close to the main station and in the historic city centre. All guests having a car park in a parking station at a very convenient price, and everything is conveniently managed by the hotel. The restaurant offers very tasty food for a fair price, the breakfast is also very rich and tasty. Hotel personnel as well as the hotel manager are super nice and friendly. Definitely recommended 👌

Maybe the hotel should think about a better quality of mattresses and improve eventually the darkening curtains. But for sure the quality of sleeping was fine.

The owner and staff were brilliant, extremely helpful and friendly. The only downside is the parking as the hotel is in a pedestrian area, but parking is just a short walk. If you want a good breakfast this is the place to stay.

The breakfast was excellent. It was just a pity that I was in a hurry to catch a train and couldn't take a little longer over it. Room was quite large, very nice. On arrival I weas asked if I would like to partake of an evening meal. I did, and it was excellent. The hotel was less than 5 minutes walk from Rheine station, excellent.

Very centric location, just a couple of minutes from the train station. The room was spacious and very clean. The rooms are well isolated; they have enough heatings, yet we didn't use them although the temperatures were low. Really nice buffet breakfast included in the reservation price. Friendly staff.

No elevator, keep it in mind if you have limited mobility or if you travel with large suitcases (not our case, but always good to know)

The hotel facility’s and staff were 5 stars in my opinion. Great value for money. Also great location, within minutes you can be at the bus or train station and your basically in the city centre of Rhiene with lovely market stalls throughout the week just outside the hotel. You can also eat outside if it’s good weather and nothing is a bother to the staff who went above and beyond to accommodate our every need and wish. We are staying again in a few months and will do so regularly when visiting family now as it’s great value for money.

Great facility’s in the hotel. Room cleaned everyday to a very high standard. mini fridge in room was very useful and we requested extra bedding and hangers which were brought to the room straight away and nothing was a bother to the staff. Everything you could wish for and very reasonable price in my opinion.

Excellent location! Really warm place specially compared to the cold weather outside!

Only for the first 2 days the wifi worked. The rest of the days even when the wifi was on, the connection was so unstable I could not do anything. It was constantly connecting and disconnecting both on my phone and computer.
