First of all the staff is top notch. My five stars comes because of their attentiveness to detail. The staff went above and beyond in many ways. I'm a rock climber and often had to leave earlier than the 7:30 a.m. breakfast. They made me packed breakfasts every single morning when I had to leave early at 6:00 a.m. When I had time to do the sit down breakfast was very good. I also had a situation where I had a flight delayed for 2 days in Newark, I arrived a day late. This hotel could have charged me for my hotel room but instead accommodated the situation with extreme understanding. My negative feedback is I thought I was getting a single king size bed. Instead, two twin beds pushed together with a bar in between the two bed prove to be extremely uncomfortable word versus an actual king size bed.. The shower water pressure is amazing, but the setup was of sorts that water was all over the floor post shower and it's a little bit claustrophobic. Also for somebody who really was hoping to sleep in before change in hotels 10:30 a.m. is pretty early. Restaurant food is extremely delicious. Rooms for the most part are quiet except for local construction going on! which I can only assume is because of the Olympics. It is not the hotel's fault for the construction that's taking place anywhere near and around Cortina. So even if I chose to stay at a different hotel here in alleghe, there would be construction. Of the same kind. Oh no yes I would stay here again with request for a better bed. They also have parking.

The king size bed was twin succeed beds pushed together

The staff is very accommodating. I had a 2 day delay due to the airlines and they held the room for me as well as helped with discounting the day. Food is great. I ate there most nights. I needed breakfast before the buffet started and they would have a packed breakfast for me to go in the morning. Wonderful staff. Really spectacular views and right in front of the lake.

My only complaint is if you request a queen bed mine was two twins pushed together and you can feel the frame of the beds in-between so it was uncomfortable.

The reception staff and spa staff were great — very kind and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. The dinner dessert was very good.

The dinner menu was not clear — it was difficult to understand what we could order and what needed to be selected between the options. The dining room staff did not speak English well enough to explain the menu, so I called the receptionist for help, and she was wonderful. The breakfast was very limited for us (we don’t eat meat), and no vegetables were served at all. When we asked for tomatoes, the staff was helpful and made an exception for us.

Absolutely stunning location—easily the best located hotel in the village. The building itself is beautiful, with a warm and welcoming vibe. The staff were all super friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast had a great variety: fresh pastries, cold cuts, eggs, and even lactose-free milk, which I really appreciated. There’s also a small spa with a sauna and jacuzzi—it looked lovely, even though we didn’t use it.

Our room was under the roof, so half of it had a very low ceiling, which made the space feel cramped—especially in the bathroom. The bathtub was too small for an adult, and you couldn’t stand in it to shower. The toilet ventilation was incredibly loud, and only basic shower gel and soap were provided—no proper toiletries. Also, the beds were not comfortable at all, which really affected sleep quality.

the hotel is SUPERB! The view on the lake from the room and from the balcony is amaizing! the location is comfortable for exploring dolomites. A free parking is something valuable. The staff is very kind and helpfull. A spacial thanks to Nicola and Alessandro that were looking for the info we needed, got us tips and good advises for our traveling. The breakfast is good.

In the hotel restaurant they set fixed seats for each room and it is impossible to change. It's a really unpleasant habit, and unfair, especially for the people who stay in the hotel for a few days

The hotel has an amazing location, is very clean and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are fairly traditional, comfortable, clean and well stocked; and despite the breakfast is basic, the food is of good quality. Whilst restaurant probably serves the best evening food in Alleghe. The shuttle to the ski lift is regular and the drivers are great… but if you keep your skis up Civetta, the lift is only a short walk away.

I would have liked more fruit options at breakfast, but that is being picky.

Super location on the lake, wonderful stolling path around lake, comfy room, fabulous breakfast and 2 options for dinner - restaurant (a la carte), guest dinner (prix fixe). Our bar tender/waiter was so welcoming and accommodating. So many hikes from this location - easy parking if you did bring a car.

The location of the Sporthotel Europa Sul Lago is excellent, and the staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast and dinner were pleasant. Unfortunately, it was very hot when we were there, and the hotel had no ceiling fans or air conditioning. The beds seemed to be small and were hard. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but not enough to return.

Beautiful location and a wonderful view! The town is small but enjoyable to walk around, and the hotel is in a perfect position on the lake. Food at the hotel restaurant was delicious, and staff were very helpful providing us with an ice bucket, corkscrew, and wine glasses to the room. The restaurant also sells delicious ice cream cones which were perfect for a walk around the lake!

No air-con (and it can get quite hot in summer), but otherwise great!

I enjoyed an upgraded suite on the southern side with a beautiful view across the town to the mountains. Big room, great shower/bath, comfortable bed. Quiet (except occasional generator noise). Breakfast great. In-house restaurant ok. Friendly staff. Location good.

Wifi pretty weak, and don’t try to have a hot shower at 6pm on a cold day. Fridge could be newer/bigger
