We enjoyed every part of our stay at LaQuinta in Tucumcari, NM. This is a hidden gem for travelers. We don't have pets, but were very impressed with the number of travelers who do. Every pet owner was respectful and hotel cleanliness was on point. There was no evidence a pet had ever stayed in our room. Their housekeeping staff must be miracle workers! The night staff and morning staff at the front desk was attentive, kind, and hard working. I will stay here every time we travel in the area. RV/trailer/truck parking was plentiful and easily accessible. Breakfast was typical for a hotel, but very clean and well stocked all morning. The pool was also very clean and the Gkids loved it.

We loved everything about our stay! Even the other guests were all happy and engaging with each other and their pets.

We stayed there on our way to Ohio And back. We traveled with our two dogs. What was special Aboud this hotel is they catered to our dogs. IT was very helpful to have a specific place for our dogs to potty. That is the main reason that we stayed a second night. More Hotels should do this.

Our Room needed a bit Of an upgrade, but otherwise was very comfortable.

This hotel was exactly what we needed. We appreciated that it was pet friendly and that we were able to bring our two cats inside. We really liked the breakfast options in the morning too! Check in/check out was easy, and the staff was friendly!

We do wish the undersides of the beds were a little more protected; one of our two beds had a loose under cover, allowing our cats to sneak underneath. It wasn’t a big deal, but it was bit of a challenge trying to dig our guys out 😅

Location was fine, breakfast was dissappointing and chairs at the bar were too low for the counter. I have a hard time because of a disability getting out of low chairs was excited to see a counter but the chairs were low, felt like I was 4 years old sitting at a table, LOL!

Breakfast not many gluten free options, no lactose free milk or plant based milks, or sugar free options, oat Cherrios and oatmeal but pre-sweetened with sugar and they had eggs but had cheese on them. I'm used to it, very few states provide it and I do understand so I eat what I can or bring my own, I did see another person with the same sensitivities or allegies.

Breakfast was good and the Dog area was very clean. So nice that this was available.

While there was a small area for the dog and it was VERY clean which we appreciated. It would be nice to have a larger fenced area for the dog after a long car ride to exercise or even a walking path. .

Loved that there were wood and tile floors- no carpet!! Staff was awesome!

There were at least 2 people with 3 dogs per room- and a few who were over the weight limit!

Clean, quiet and close to the highway, but far enough away that you couldn’t hear it. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bed was very comfortable!

Ice machine was close to the room and people used it at 11pm and 6am. Not the hotels fault though that people aren’t considerate of others.

Clean, comfortable, good breakfast, customer service , friendly desk clerk. Helpful when ask guestion about places to eat.

The only thing was the height of the bed. The Patel with the boxsprings and comfortable mattress was too tall for older people that are only 4" to 5'8" inches tall to get into bed.

Everything seemed fresh and new. Bedding and towels nice quality. Window treatments, specifically light screens, were exceptional.

Haven't tried room coffee or had breakfast yet so can't respond to those things. Each has been questionable at other motels.

I wish the breakfast had had some sweet rolls of some sort and especially orange juice.

Our room was right by the elevators, so we heard people talking early in the morning. The breakfast could have had a few more things such as orange juice, some sweet rolls, and bacon.
