Came to ski. Renting equipment was so easy, but wished they also had snowboards. Convenient free shuttle to mountain for both drop and pickup but they will not take you anywhere else. You can walk to quite a few restaurants or take a taxi to some neighboring towns. We are not breakfast people so wished we could book the room only but they insisted it was 1/2 or full board. Tried to order our breakfast in room but got charged $40 for something that we did not even want. The spa with steam rooms and pool is quite special so I recommend one day for using this amazing facility.

Since there was no air conditioning, you had to sleep with the pation door open. Two problems 1)The lights on the patio could not be turned off. I had to put a towel over the lights. 2) A cat kept coming into my room since the patio door was partially open. The trash cans were super small. For the size of the room, they need to be much bigger. As a solo traveler, I don't like having rooms on the first floor. The hotel should keep that in mind

We were blown away with our stay at Granbaita! It was our first time to the Dolomites and we loved the location, staff, restaurant, food (book the half board, I didn’t realize we’d want to eat at the hotel each night but we upgraded once we got there and it was SO worth it). We went during shoulder season but we were blown away with this hotel for the price. We absolutely loved the sauna space, renting the E-mountain bikes, and all of the activities they had available for us. Our room was stunning and large with a pretty view. We had wonderful service during our entire stay and I just can’t say enough great things. We will definitely stay here again one day.

Breakfast was excellent as was the location within easy walking distance of shops, grocery store, bakery, etc. Facilities with indoor/oudoor pool were great but as North Americans we don't understand or appreciate all of the different types of saunas (including a "Hay sauna/steam room" which must carry mold and cause allergies) offered. Our room with separate sitting area on ground level with two walk out patios was fabulous though there was a lot of wasted space and too little counter space in the bathroom. The amount of activities offered, and included in the nightly rate, are fabulous including an e-bike tour that we went on (only the two of us with the hotel instructor/guide).

Bed was too hard for my liking and the sheets are scratchy/itchy, but I often find both of these when I travel. Lots of rain but if you are prepared, you don't have to let it stop you from doing most things.

Everything - the most sensational hotel experience from start to finish. My husband and I don’t regularly do 5 star hotels but as it was a honeymoon we stayed one night as a treat. We arrived and bags were taken up to the room for us and we were given a welcome drink and delicious snack whilst being given a talk about the facilities and things to do. Our room was compact but immaculate. Unfortunately I feel unwell during the stay so wasn’t able to go down for dinner in the beautiful restaurant but not to worry as the amazing Granbaita staff brought up a menu to the room and gave us meals from the restaurant in the room, which arrived on a trolly that converted into a table! They were incredibly tasty and presented like a Michelin star restaurant! The spa area and pool - the greatest we’ve ever experienced. Spacious and so well laid out. My husband went into the sauna area and said it was the best steam room he’d ever seen. The breakfast offerings were amazing too, with a great selection and the chef can cook you things like eggs Benedict if you want, with no additional cost! Overall, the Granbaita was the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in. It was super quiet (we went during ski off season) and the location amongst the mountains was stunning. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We loved the suite. It was spacious and cosy. Great bathroom accessories by [comfort zone]. And great housekeeping.

We expected for 5 star hotel to also have great food. I mean food selection at the buffet was good (especially cheeses and salami) but cooked food was below average. If you choose dinner, just stay at buffet. One remake also on breakfast and dinner service. It was slow. Really slow. Except with Dora. We had her only for the first night. Shame she moved to another region.

This is an exceptional experience staying here. From the moment you check in you feel like you are a VIP. the facilities are superb. we stayed in one of the renovated suites so everything was above expectations. everything you needed was provided including transport to ski lift and free unlimited public transport passes. I would suggest getting half board as the food is part of the overall experience. We extended our stay as we were so impressed. Thank you Martha and the team for making this an amazing stay.

The village shuts down in low season but this was not an issue as the hotel provided what we needed.

Great location near to Selva, lovely walks nearby, lots of activities in the village and the hotel staff were warm,friendly and professional , a pleasure to stay here. The attention to detail was incredible and my wife and i loved the outdoor pool. May consider coming back in winter for the skiing.

There wasnt really anything I could think of.

The food was excellent. The buffets at breakfast and dinner were superb, with lots of choice and all beautifully prepared. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. There was a great range of activities on offer, such as guided walks or mountain bike tours.

A bit more storage space in the room would have been nice. Also an armchair in the room would have been appreciated, the desk chair wasn't very comfortable. These are minor points and we loved our stay here.

Incredible service from start to finish. Felt like upscale camp with daily activities board catering to all levels of fitness and activity. We hiked three out of four days there and felt like family by the end. Restaurant was impeccable. Spa service was good, but not great. I would recommend this property to all friends and family. Impressive all around!
