The hotel exceeded our expectations in every way! The location is stunning, with breathtaking views and beautifully maintained surroundings. The outdoor terrace and relaxation areas around the property are perfect for unwinding and enjoying the scenery. The SPA is excellent, featuring an indoor hot tub, two saunas, and peaceful relaxation areas, plus an outdoor swimming pool. What truly stood out, however, were the staff and the food. We chose the half-board option and were grateful for it every evening—the breakfasts were fabulous with high-quality ingredients, and the dinners were absolutely superb. The staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful, creating a warm atmosphere throughout our stay. A lovely bonus is the complimentary organized hiking groups—we joined one and had a wonderful experience. Overall, a fantastic stay we’d happily recommend!

Our only minor disappointment was that the room did not have a balcony.

What a wonderful find this hotel was, set in a stunning location situated in a quiet alpine village. The room with balcony was spacious and comfortable with an excellent bathroom. The staff, from the very friendly boss, down to the waiting staff, were professional and approachable. The food was good (we were half board) with lots of choice at the breakfast buffet and evening salad bar. We were fortunate that the weather was also fantastic so we were able to sit outside and enjoy a beer or gelato. We didn't try the spa facility but it looked comprehensive. Highly recommended!

Absolutely nothing.

The vistas from the balcony were amazing. Very peaceful and relaxing location. We loved the outside fireplace at night after dinner. Breakfast was delicious with many options. The staff is very polite, accommodating and helpful . We had an unexpected late check-in, and we called the hotel, and they waied for us. Mario, our waiter was very nice too. We had dinner at the hotel one night, and the food was great. The hotel is a 10 minute drive from Ortisei. We highly recommend it.

The spa was underground. Having such a beautiful outdoor space, they should have located the spa with an outdoor view

The position is fabulous. Bulla is an incredibly beautiful village. The public areas are perfect--lovely terrace, very nice breakfast room--and the food was great.

Our room was small, without enough space for our clothes and luggage, and it had a mansard roof so we couldn't stand up straight in part of the room. The bathroom was really small without much counter space. It would have been fine for a night solo but wasn't practical for a couple for a weekend. I saw other rooms with much more space. Next time we'll take one of those!

Hotel Platz is a beautiful hotel with amazing views over the mountains and Ortisei. The receptionist (I didn't catch his name) was very friendly and took great care of us during our stay. He gave us fantastic recommendations for a 1 hour hike to Alpe de Suis which was so beautiful we ended up exploring the area for many hours. Breakfast was very good and they do a new set menu for dinner every day which was good too.

We loved everything about Hotel Platz! Such a charming unexpected delight, so close to Ortisei and Val Gardenia! The food and staff were exceptional~ always a delicious breakfast and dinner, w a warm welcome from staff. They couldn’t do enough for you! We definitely plan to make Platz part of our plans when we travel again! And the views!! Incredible! Each day, they put together a little daily menu, which included hiking trails in the area~ just wonderful! We will be back!

Our room was a little small, but the view was magnificent, w a lovely balcony. Nice and clean, great restaurant and housekeeping staff!

Place was very lovely. Friendly staff who were very welcoming. The rooms and facilities very clean and well maintained. Offered a free bus service down to the main town. We had a car so didn’t need to use but was nice to have the option. Free parking on site with lovely views of Ortesei. Breakfast was very nice too.

Hotel was slightly further out but meant it was a lot quieter. Hotel dinner was quite expensive and weren’t many cheaper options around as we were further from the town. Could offer a nicer gym facility only had a spin bike. Some of the staff didn’t speak much English so communication could be challenging.

A combination of location and service. The hotel is on a wonderful spot overlooking the valley over Ortisei. The view from the room was breathtaking! The outdoor swimming pool was great after a hot day in the mountains. The meals were exceptional quality and served by courteous and experienced staff. We felt like we were in a Michelin * restaurant! In the evening they lit a fire on the balcony and it was marvellous sitting by the fire looking at the stars. The staff was very kind and welcoming. We didn't have time to use all the facilities but they showed us around the sauna area and it looked amazing! We will certainly come again and next time we will go hiking with the hotel guide!

The room was a bit "dated" but the view made up for it.

Ease of booking. Quaint location. This place has been a functioning farm / Refugio since 1410 [not a typo] according to the staff. Breakfast / Dinner were outstanding. Good hiking just out the door.

Churchbells chimed all night [charming if you sleep deeply].

Great for romance and couples Location although far, but great at top of mountain, and very close to city center - 10 minutes

Not fit for children - which is perfect Not recommended for people who like to go far trips 2-3 hours
