Small boutique hotel just inside the Porta Reale. Ten minutes walk from Station (uphill). Rooms clean, comfortable and well laid out, bathrooms very good. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast excellent, small rooftop bar (for guests), well worth a visit for the views of Noto in the evening.

Nothing, from our stay, but rooms at the front of the hotel may be noisy during the day as they face the main street of Noto which is a very busy pedestrian route.

Stayed at the apartment which is right behind the hotel, great spacious room, kitchen, and a great balcony :) You can even park your car right next to the entrance

The service from Francesco was second to none. The other staff were also fantastic. The hotel is located in central location & within walking distance to amazing shops, bars, cafes, restaurants & monuments. If you have a hire car they have a valet service at an additional cost which put our mind at ease as we were worried about parking on the street. Would definitely recommend!

The rooms aren't very soundproof and you hear a lot of noises from other rooms such as plumbing. Also if you are on the same floor as the breakfast room you will hear people having breakfast which can get quite loud. The air-conditioning whilst very good keeps turning on and off due to a temperature sensor and if it turns off at night it can get quite warm till it turns on again.

Everything was great during our stay at Porta Reale - the location can't be beat, the staff were incredibly friendly, the room was spacious and clean, and we had a balcony overlooking the main boulevard. The rooftop is also lovely to watch the sunset from while having a drink. Great value for money! We also drove our rental car there and left it with the hotel valet - worth every penny.

Nothing - everything was excellent.

We loved where the property was located. Our car was parked for us and retrieved each time we needed to use it for going exploring. We received a warm welcome and everyone at the front desk could not of been more helpful. Beautiful breakfast, comfortable room and cleaned to perfection. We loved the rooftop bar and our bartender was also great. Can’t say enough… we hated to leave.

On the website something should be stated about getting to the hotel. The challenge was finding the hotel and parking. But once we found it they could not of been more accommodating.

Nice hotel, well located to walk around Noto. Rooftop bar has a nice view. Old Noto is not that big. It is very manageable to arrive in the afternoon, walk around and have dinner. Many restaurants to choose from. We drove. Make sure you enter Porta Reale for GPS coordinates and not hotel address. The hotel is through the gate on the left about 100 yards. Actually, if there is parking near the gate, one could just park there and walk up

My wife and I stayed 3 nights at Hotel Porta Reale in Noto, and I want to start by saying that it was one of our better experiences with a hotel in Sicily and not just! The hotel is located on the main pedestrian street, steps away from Porta Reale, hence the name. We booked an entire apartment which apparently was apart from the main building and somewhat hard to get to for people with accessibilty issues, like myself. We turned to the front desk which immediately agreed to change our room. The breakfast was excellent and rich. The hospitality in its entirety was more than perfect. Noto is beutiful and I would definitely recommend to visit Noto and stay at Hotel Porta Reale. Special thanks to Natalia, Neomi and Dario which went really out of their way to assist in every possible manner throughout our stay.

Even though it did not affect our overall experience with the hotel. I would advice the hotel to provide more accurate data about the separate apartments, things like accessibilty and the fact that they are not actually part of the hotel.

The hotel delights with high-quality furnishings. The rooms were furnished with attention to detail. When we arrived we were very tense from the driving. A member of the hotel staff took all the tension away from us and put a smile on our faces. He was very accommodating and also took care of parking the car. The lady at the front desk (Natalia) was very nice and extremely helpful. You felt immediately comfortable and welcome. The breakfast delighted with freshly prepared food and a great and healthy selection. In any case, we will always remember the extremely warm welcome by the Argentine bartender! He was very accommodating and made the evenings on the rooftop bar something special with his warm personality!
