We had a lovely two night stay at the Nolana 86. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed at the B&B. What made it even more special was the warm, friendly welcome we received from Diego, the host who was genuinely kind and even took time to share insights about Pompeii and Sorrento which added so much value to our experience. The amenities were very good: our room was clean and comfortable and the air conditioning kept us cool in the summer heat, and we appreciated the complimentary Wi-Fi and lovey breakfast. The free onsite parking was a real bonus — convenient and stress free, especially with such easy access to Pompeii centre just a five-minute walk away. The panoramic views from the B&B were beautiful, adding a peaceful touch to our visit. A truly charming and memorable stay! Thank you, Diego.

We had an adorable room with a little balcony - view on the mountains and the cathedral. Waking up on a Sunday to the sound of bells is straight out of the movie. The room had everything we could possibly need. Softest mattress, powerful AC, huge bottle of welcome water and many other details that made us feel welcomed. The host is incredibly nice, helped us store our giant heavy luggage, helped us order taxis that arrived within minutes (while as uber didn’t), showed us everything we can access in a shared kitchen and made sure we liked our stay to the fullest. It was absolutely amazing! There is a long staircase leading to the property, which can be a bit challenging, especially in heat. But the view from the room was worth it and we were helped with our luggage. It’s situated in close proximity to restaurants, historical spots and all other necessities! Lovely.

This is a B&B in the form of a shared space, with independent bedrooms, but kitchen and living spaces completely shared. It is well-maintained and there is a nice shared balcony. Breakfast was Italian with pastries, but really very well done. Parking is tight, but really useful to have.

It wasn't clear from the listing just how thoroughly shared the space is. Essentially, you get a bedroom and everything else is shared. That works for some people, but not our family, and if that was clearer then we would have booked elsewhere. But if that is the kind of place you are looking for then this is a good one.

The property was very clean and is in easy walking distance to the archeological site as well as the church/downtown area. The host is very helpful and kind and made tasty, plentiful breakfasts. The apartment is set up as a B&B, with 3 bedrooms individually available for rent (each with its own bath), and it has a nice breakfast room/sunroom and a large rooftop patio. The beds have Italian orthopedic (very firm) mattresses.

My traveling companions found the mattresses (particularly the bunk beds) too firm.

The main purpose of our stay was to visit the nearby Pompeii ruins, and so for that purpose the location was great. Probably about a 5 mins walk to the centre and 10mins walk to the entrance of the park. The room also was very nice and well equipped, and suitable for our short stay. The communal kitchen was very handy and the communal terrace was great in the mornings and evenings. Not sure I will be visiting Pompeii again, but if I did I would certainly book this accommodation.

Good size room and bathroom. Everything exceptionally clean. Warm welcome on arrival. Excellent, substantial breakfast. Wonderful location - walking distance from santuario station and from Pompeii ruins. Lovely view of the mountains from breakfast room. Use of full kitchen. Washing machine available for small additional cost. Perfect host - couldn’t do enough for us. Would certainly recommend. Thankyou Diego 😊

There is no lift - not the end of the world, but it would have saved us a little!

We loved our stay at Nolana '86. The views of the surrounding mountains at breakfast were amazing and I loved the plants around the terrace. It was so pretty. The breakfast was delicious. Something different every day! The host and staff at breakfast were so friendly and made us feel so welcome. The host was very kind and would ask us about what we had planned for the day and gave us advice on how to get there and even what train to take if needed. It's a great location for visiting Pompei and close to food and gelato shops. (We also visited Herculaneum and Mt Vesuvius - very easy to get too). The room was spotless and very comfortable. We had a lot of space and we loved eating dinners on the balcony of our room. It was so quiet we didn't hear anything at night. We slept very well. The communal areas were great as well. The check in was very easy. I loved everything about our stay and would 100% recommend to others to stay here.

We had the family room and it was spotlessly clean and comfortable for the 5 of us. There is also a communal sitting area and large balcony for guest use. The guest house is an easy 10 minute walk from Pompeii Santuario train station or Pompei central station (for metropolitan line from Naples Garibaldi). (It’s a much further walk from Pompei Scavi - villa dei misteri station for the Circumvesuvio line trains). Great location for visiting Pompei archeological site (there is a quiet entrance 15 min walk from the guest house) and lots of good cafes and restaurants close by. The owner Diego was very kind in letting us leave our bags in the morning and provided lots of helpful information. We missed the included breakfast as we had an early train, but Diego kindly offered us a voucher for breakfast at a bar next door that opens early.

The host was very nice and helpful with directions and recommendations. He contacted me beforehand and helped pick the right transportation so I wouldn't have to walk much. The room was spacious and well equipped, and the kitchen/lounge area as well. Nice view from the terrace. Breakfast had delicious traditional pastries and coffee.

The accomodation is located on the second floor, with exterior staircases, so be mindful of that if you're traveling with heavy luggage. The toilet works with an old gravity system and takes a while to fill the tank and flush.

This B&B was just perfect. A great location to walk to the ruins & the restaurants etc in the new city but in a nice quiet area. Diego was fabulous giving precise directions to get there by train which was really helpful. He made great recommendations for the sights/activities plus good restaurants nearby. We had breakfast 1 morning which was lovely local pastries and fresh authentic coffee. The facilities at the B&B were beyond our expectations. Rooms were large, clean & really comfortable. There was a small kitchen area with large fridge, a separate dining/sitting plus the outside seating area which was amazing in an evening when everything was cooling down a bit. I cant reccommend this place enough. A brilliant start to our Italian adventure thanks Diego
