The location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach and access to two pools made it even better

The property is a bit dated and could really use a renovation. An update would definitely make a difference. Also, while not a deal breaker, it would be more convenient if the TV were visible from the bed.

The location was amazing for the price. The beach was only a couple of steps away from the pool area and lots of restaurants around! The hotel staff were friendly and the room was clean. The pools looked nice and clean as well.

The only things I didn't like was that it could use an update in the rooms and the hot tubs. All the hot tubs were really dirty and old looking. The pillows in the room weren't very comfortable to me but my husband did not mind them.

I liked that our room was on the first floor near the pool. Our dog was able to see us from our room, only a few feet from our chairs. I liked that the shower was new and had nice hot water with a nice flow.

Parking was an additional $6 a day, which I had to log in and register the vehicle. Also, the pet fee was $75. For a two day stay, I thought it was excessive. The first night (Friday) the tiki hut at the end of the hotel (outside) had an event that was so loud that it was annoying. It only went until 930p, but the music was similar to karaoke. We were locked out of our room 20 minutes before the 10am check out time. That was stress I did not need before checking out. The front desk said the keys were good and thought maybe it was the battery on the door, but the service person's key worked. The service person told me that checkout was at 10am and I showed him it was only 945am. Again, did not need that.

The one-bedroom apartment had plenty of room with a kitchen area, pull-out sofa bed, and dining table and chairs in the living area, as well as a full bathroom and a separate bedroom with queen bed Since my room was on the first floor, it was easily accessible from the parking lot. The front windows provided a nice view of the pool and the grass and dunes on the beach, which was only a short walk away. It enjoyed sitting out on the patio listening to the waves crashing on the beach. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was great -- right on the beach, near restaurants and stores. I also liked that the hotel has a tiki bar onsite -- next to the pools -- where you can purchase drinks and food; the staff there was very nice and friendly. I really enjoyed my stay at the Ocean Club Resort and would stay there again when I visit the area!

The hotel has several outdoor hot tubs, but only one or two of them was working during my stay.

Loved the room!! Very cozy and homey. Had everything we needed. Very well stocked with cookware and all the essentials. Bed slept great. The sliding door was difficult to open and close but manageable. LOVED THE BEACH VIEW!! I really like that there were two pools that were up to 8 feet deep and several hot tubs. The outdoor bar and grill is a nice amenity as well. Overall a great experience. Definitely will go back.

I was awaken by loud banging one morning. If work needs to be done it should be done after 9am. I could hear what sounded like kids running back and forth non-stop above and cleaning carts moving about above the same morning after hearing the loud banging. So it was a pretty disturbing morning. Only 2 of the hot tubs were in use. Signs are up stating only one family or person at a time. All the hot tubs should have been operating. I was on the first floor. The people in the room next to mine sat outside their door (not on balcony) for hours into the night and were very loud which was very bothersome. This also blocked the walkway. Guests should utilize the balcony to sit outside and not block walkways.

The location was amazing, great view of the beach! The staff were extremely friendly and appeared happy to be there. The room was a good size (2 adults, two children...one queen and one pull out bed). It was nice to have everything in the room we needed...stove, microwave, full refrigerator and dish washer. The pool was very clean and the walk to the beach was short and easy. There was a laundry exchange where you could get fresh towels, linens, paper towels in the mornings. Luggage racks were easily accessible and very helpful thanks have.

The hotel was a tad dated but nothing that would keep me from coming back.

The night staff was very helpful, including your maintenance man. I just had an issue with dead batteries in my TV remote but he got it fixed fast. We were provided lots of towels and washcloths. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. I loved the pamphlet we were given telling us where ice bins, the gym, trash cans and recycling bins were located. It helped out so much.

The only issue we had were the short curtains in the bedrooms did nothing to keep the light out. We were on our vacation and wanted to be able to sleep a little later but soon as the room started lightning up we were up. It's not a complaint only a suggestion for us light sleeping folks.

The lady at the front desk was wonderful. I had a bad experience with a rental company called Big Fish Rentals which totally soured my 3x a year trips to Myrtle Beach so i was happy to find another honest facility. I stayed here in 2019 so I booked again. The outside was a little dated but the room was very nice. I like not having to deal with a multi level garages and they have lots of easy parking. I love the North Myrtle Beach area and have been coming here several times a year for years. She mentioned conversations about becoming pet friendly and that will be much appreciated so I can bring my little dog once again.

Would have liked the top floor to take sunrise photos. It was still a little chilly to go out in the morning for me. I was on the second floor and do like a little higher up.

We got the one bedroom. Plenty of room. Beach front with patio and jetted tub. Room could be updated a little but we were satisfied and comfortable. Was worth what we paid to stay there.

Everything and everybody was good except for the lady who works in the laundry where you go trade in your dirty room towels for clean ones cause they don’t clean your room during your stay. She was rude to us. And the weed smoking neighbors.

It was perfect for me, my boyfriend, and my dog❤️ loved the balcony and little kitchen it had everything we needed!

No ceiling fan in the bedroom:( the outside is a little ran down and the elevators definitely need updating. Also lots of people left their dog poop and never picked it up so there’s was lots of smooshed dog poop and bugs bc of it outside:/
