Location, spacious room, very clean room and bathroom, friendly and helpful staff even coming to wish us a good ride on departure, very well maintained hotel with a secure bike shed. Breakfast was ok.

As Europe becomes hotter, air conditioning is almost a must. We knew there would not be aircon at this hotel when we booked, but we didn’t expect the day to be 34 degC. We had to open the windows to get a breeze and we were directly above the smoking area below. Not just this hotel, but ALL hotels need to rethink and rezone their smoking areas.

Great choice and quality, lovely space, friendly and helpful staff. It was obvious that the staff are well trained, the relationship between management and staff is caring and trusting which makes for a very pleasant atmosphere. This is a real strength of this family-run hotel.

We would have preferred a walk-in shower rather than a bath due to our advancing years 😉.

Everything about the Hotel was wonderful. We loved the room, the beds were very nice, the bathroom was exceptional, warm and peaceful. We enjoyed the breakfast, which had a lot to choose from. Good quality food also in the restaurant were we had dinner. The service was first class, and the staff were very friendly and polite. Very hospitable and family type atmosphere throughout. The location was perfect, with shops in walking distance. We enjoyed our stay, and we will definitely stay there again.

We loved everything about it!

Once you find your way around the hotel (it’s a real rabbit warren) you’ll find everything you need. The bike storage room was fantastic with good security and charging points for e-bikes. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was large and comfortable. But the highlight of our stay was the seasonal menu in the dining room (asparagus and wild garlic were in season) and the local honey and bread at breakfast. The dining room menu lists the local suppliers and we loved this idea.

Brilliant stay in a quiet part of the town. Delicious food and staff were friendly, approachable and helpful. Rooms are large and well-equipped. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Bathroom was spotless with everything you could want and a powerful shower. Breakfast was exceptional - a wide variety of food and beverages to suit all tastes served in a beautiful atrium.

The hotel is beautiful, clean and very spacious, the staff is super friendly I ate at the hotel's restaurant and becouse of the language barrier I didn't know what to order the employees too the time to explain and subjest for my dinner. I am very pleased with the service

Super clean, good sized room, very good bed, good bathroom, excellent breakfast (everything is freshly prepared), nice restaurant at the location. This was the second time I stayed here, and it will be the place to stay whenever I visit family in the area.

Amazing one night stay. The restaurant of the hotel is absolutely top (great season menu and all, great level while we would have been happy with a good pub). The rooms are very clean and modern ! Breakfast is great with fresh local products and excellent quality and wide choice.

Excellent and friendly service. I drove in and immediately had help with my bags. Room was large with plugs everywhere. Desk was large enough to easily work. Staff even brought a pitcher up to the room while I worked and allowed me to bring some of my breakfast up because I had a call coming in. Meals were excellent. Even had a queen size bed. Bathroom large with excellent shower and a lot of toiletries often not found in rooms anymore. Prices very reasonable. TV had an English news station. I will return.

Most friendly host welcomed us. All staff was super friendly. Hotel is very clean and decent. Everything you needed is here. Towels where really supersoft, like you want to have at home. Beds where really good.
