The hotel itself was spacious, the bedrooms were comfortable although a little dated but very clean. Food was varied, plentiful and of good quality. The staff work very hard to keep everything running as smoothly as they can which I would imagine at times can be pretty hard going when the hotel is at its full capacity. All we wanted was a change of scenery that was close to the beach, somewhere to chill and recharge our batteries that offered good food and drink. This hotel met all of these needs. There was lots of entertainment both day and night if you wanted to be a part of it but also plenty of areas to sit and enjoy the beautiful weather and chill.

The area was surrounded by lots of shops, bars and restaurants that for whatever reason had stopped trading, therefore left in a poor state of repair. This was very sad to see. I'm glad we decided to upgrade to A/I as this may have been a problem. We hadn't come away to spend our time driving up and down La Manga trying to find something different to eat and drink every day.

We enjoyed the fact that it wasn't rammed with British tourists. Over the stay we weren't aware of any. The buffet selection was great for all meals. Huge restaurant. Room was brilliant, comfortable big bed, great shower/ pressure and temperature instant. Air con was great. Our view was phenomenal, as we were on the top floor overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Great for Sunrises and in the evening sunsets. Never any issues with getting a sunlounger. They probably had more sun loungers than residents. We loved the fact you couldn't reserve sun loungers as it wasn't necessary. The hotel had lots of different areas to relax I,e loungers on the beach, seperate entertainment venues, chilling lounges, rooftop loungers with great views of the Menor Sea to view the sunsets. Numerous places to drink if you so wish. There were irons available for a 20 euro refundable deposit plus bag weighing scales for 1 euro. They had a laundrette available, a clothes/ souvenir shop and a gym, albeit it small. Also bud service covering La Manga was brilliant at a cost of 1.15 euros per trip and regular buses. The Mediterranean Sea was brilliant, warm, shallow, safe for children. There were one or two jelly fish around, but as the Sea was crystal clear you could easily spot them. All in all my wife and I felt it was exceptional value for money.

To be honest, there wasn't anything we strongly disliked, however the entertainment wasn't Brilliant, but watchable. The pool was a little small for the amount of residents. However with the Mediterranean Sea on one side of the road and the Menor Sea on the other side we didn't need the pool. Hotel had a car park, but there wasn't anywhere to park whilst you were getting your card for the barrier. Car park however was roomy.

Room excellent great views really clean..beach lovey couldnt fault any of this...

We were only there for 4 days beach bar closed on Easter Sunday and Monday not good. Breakfast is a nightmare total chaos... there should be allocated times or suggested times...to alleviate the pressure and stress for the client and staff I found the salad bars amazing great bread... lack of choice of fish I live in Spain and no prawns on offer... too much pork not enough chicken .... no seasoning on anything really bland... maybe rethink your chefs.. why don't you have a grill near the beach area burgers chicken hotdogs with real sausage sandwiches takes pressure of the canteen at lunch time

Fantastic location, very clean and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel had some lovely leisure and social areas to enjoy the fabulous vista points. Clean beach with towel option which is great if travelling light. Absolutely loved their sun lounger no-reservation policy which everyone respected - plenty of loungers for everyone, wish we could have stayed longer and would love to come back 😊☀️

Lack of parking and didn’t see any cigarette butt end bins.

We have visited other hotels with 4 stars in La Manga, we were prepared to receive a similar experience than others witing the same price range but we got a big surprise, The AluaSun Doblemar exceded our expectations with a very clean installation, an excellent staff and good service, i recomended to get the "All inclusive rate" to get access to all the drinks and food services. The Snack Bar was good, with a complementary food service between lunch and dinner.

The room was excellent, the view of the Med was excellent, the meals in the hotel were good.

The restaurant was very busy. There weren’t enough lifts for the size of hotel. Expensive car parking, but plenty of spaces on the road nearby.

The hotel was on the beach there were plenty of sunbeds around the pool and on the beach On arrival we got upgraded to a room with a large sun terrace We have been twice this year and will go again The food is good we took half board and you got wine and beer along with youre meal

One of the guys on the desk who could be quite abrupt but was ok with us the floor was a bit dusty

We stayed for 9 days, the location was great, room on the first floor, with easy access via stairs, easy requests via hotel own App

The various food was boring after 5 days, same ingredients rotated in few days. All entertainment was designed for old people. Room walls are thin, late night music from hotel entertainment was disturbing after 10pm. Should have more staff in dining room during the weekend as clean tables and food refill was slow.

plenty of comfortable sun loungers, views excellent on both sides, food plentiful especially lunch. Bar service very good.

We felt it was a little ruined by the school children running riot in the hotel and around the pool, we did see somebody complain to one of the monitors who didnt seem to be much older than the children, and obviously could not control these children. obviously they were here for their whitsun half term break and if we had realized we would have chosen a different week

the room was spacious and clean with a walk in shower. The bed was very comfortable. We also used their washer and dryer since we had traveled for several days and needed some clean clothes. The washer came with detergent and was 4 Euros and dryer was 3 Euros. We liked they had daily activities and in the evening, we enjoyed Bingo and Karaoke night. Staff was very nice and helpful throughout our stay. The All Inclusive package was a great touch. One day we missed lunch and walked next door to a great Italian restaurant for pizza. Overall great stay.
