My friends and I spent 2 nights here as we were visiting Colditz Castle which was a short drive away. The rooms were large, well appointed and comfortable. The violent shower was perfect after a long day on the bike. There was secure, gated parking at the rear of the hotel for motorcycles.

Booking.com could have warned us that the hotel is actually closed on Mondays and guests should not arrive before 4pm. We arrived a little before 2pm and to be fair, having contacted the hotel, we were booked in. The staff were very helpful. As the hotel was closed on Monday we had to go into town, a 15 minute walk, to find a restaurant that was open.

The staff first. Very friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant was close and they took us to another one by car (we are a group of.cyclists and the restaurant was quote fare). Then the rooms: large and confortabile. And last but not least, the breakfast rich as needed by cyclists starting for a long ride. A very pleasant experience!!!

Hotel is located on a lovely square. Hotel does not have its own car park but you can park on the square or streets around the hotel. Rooms are above the pub hence some noise is expected. Room was refurbished, spacious and clean, bathroom was clean. Wifi very good. We have not eaten there as we were leaving .4.45h in the morning. Staff very helpful. Stay was value for the money, would stay there again

The breakfast was basic German brötchen and very fresh. Selection was okay overall good. The owner greeted us very friendly and nice. We felt at home. I would recommend if you wanna enjoy quite and idyllic part of german town. I would definitely stay again for sure.

The location was perfect for me, as I could walk from the train station and also to the church where I was performing. The room was cozy but great for a night by myself. The staff members and owner were also super helpful when I had any questions or needed anything. Thank you for making my stay comfortable!
