We booked this hotel at 7pm after our car had been repaired as we didn't know how far we'd get on our journey back to the Tunnel. We immediately messaged with our arrival time and the lady was waiting for us at 9pm, great service. Honestly couldn't have chosen a better location - quiet and only a few minutes off the autoroute with good parking. Our room (number 20) exceeded our expectations - large, airy, spotlessly clean with a big comfy bed and well equipped modern bathroom. We didn't pay for breakfast as we headed off early.

Really nice stop on my route down to Switzerland on my motorcycle, ready clean and comfortable hotel I didn’t eat there simply because I only had one evening so I decided to go out and explore the town when I arrived at the hotel. I was even able to put my motorcycle in the garage. The room was comfortable and clean a great stop for anyone travelling down through to Switzerland..

The hotel is just superb. Room was super clean, comfortable with good air con. Staff advised us where to park very close by (10 metres!). We ate at the restaraunt, outdoors, in the little park oppoosite. It was just a superb meal. Very high quality, such good value for 28 euros. The breakfast next morning was delicious, everythign home-made, you could really tell. The best croissant I have ever tasted in France, just superb. Location is great, lovely little town to explore. We were lucky as the town festival started that night, free music, great atmosphere all nearby. I would not hesitate to recommend and would advise to eat in at the restaraunt for a really great French meal.

Pretty good stay in Chaumont, good location, nice view, the room was very small but equipped with everything that I needed for a one night stay

My room was very small, the restaurant in the hotel was a bit over-priced for the quality they provided, I was alone: 1 starter, 1 main course, wine and a coffee for ± €80 - staff was very nice and helpful though and nice outdoor terrace..

Bedroom and bathroom were very nice, we paid for a larger room. Easy to park outside, on a meter, but the receptionist told us it was free for us.

Chaumont is a little depressed, some great historical buildings but it has seen better days, as a town, probably reflects a post covid landscape.

We often travel from St Tropez back to the UK and this was a perfect stop off. Super convenient, great parking and really lovely helpful staff. The hotel is immaculately clean and the breakfast was great ! Love the orange juicing machine 🍊 Arrived a little late but had a quick look at the town and it’s really nice - will arrive earlier next time. Thank you Guys - and big Woof from Teddy our dog 🐶

The hotel is on a great location and were very happy with our room! The property has an excellent restaurant on site where we enjoyed a lovely dinner, and although we normally don’t eat breakfast in the hotels in France, we decided to do so this time, and was more than pleasantly surprised with the quality of the homemade breakfast. The hotel welcomes dogs at a charge, and the staff was really welcoming to both us and our dogs. We will certainly be back!

Great location for a overnight stay on the way to the alps. Very friendly welcome and couldn’t be more helpful and accommodating. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The dinner and breakfast was lovely too. Would highly recommend.

Madame v solicitous. Showed us to room and where everything was. We stayed in a superior double room which was as well equipped as a 5 star hotel with robes, tissues, shower cap, kettle etc. We were given fresh milk for tea (we’d bought our own English breakfast tea!) Bed v comfortable. Our room was quiet even though there was a music festival in the town. Restaurant a lovely surprise. Excellent service. Meal good with an interesting menu. Buffalo cheese foam and tomatoes. Chicken stuffed with chorizo. Dessert of red fruits with sprinkling of crumble so not too heavy. Lovely champagne and local white wine. Breakfast magnificent. Madame brought us boiling water for our tea and again showed us the wonderful breakfast spread: croissants, French bread, home made jams, home made yoghourt (creamy and delicious with the jam!), home made cake, ham, cheese, fruit salad. A lovely hotel.

Friendly & attentive staff. Room good size, comfortable & spotlessly clean. Attention to detail eg feather & down quilt, selection pillows, bathrobes, kettle & tea/coffee facilities, minibar for soft drinks. Position good. Interesting old building.

The bathroom was very compact. Beautiful dinner, except sadly the lamb cutlets were overcooked & topping burnt. Otherwise it was superb! :-)
