This hotel is fantastic. The location is superb right opposite the famous monastery. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and clean. The hotel has a swimming pool and an underground parking area. The staff couldn’t be more helpful. They don’t speak English but that is no barrier to their helpfulness. We were travelling by motorcycle and we had a mechanical problem that took time to resolve. Because of that we didn’t know if we would be leaving or not on our departure day. We only found out late that we would be leaving and the hotel staff put no pressure on us to get out of our room even though we went past checkout time. They also made phone calls for us in Spanish. They were fantastic 👍

There was nothing we didn’t like.

The hotel is in a very small Spanish town. We were able to drive up to the hotel, take our luggage out of the car, and then go back to the entrance of the town and park in the parking lot (free) overnight. From the parking lot it is about a three minute walk to the hotel. The best thing about the hotel was that their kitchen opened for dinner (at 8:15 pm). We tried a few other places in town (online said they were open) but they were not open. We had lamb and it was great. The rooms are spacious and clean. Beds fine, head pillows hard. Breakfast was basic (and cost $7 per person); pastries, juice, coffee, yogurt, toast. Great place to stay, would recommend!

It would be nice if the people spoke English ;)

The location here in the village is everything. We were able to park our motorbikes just outside the front door off the road and walk to the monastery to hear vespers. Wr also rode out to Sad Hill cemetery, the location for The Good, Bad and Ugly film. The room was fine with a little terrace, although we couldn't get the door to open onto it. The bathroom was ok with plenty of hot water. The breakfast was fine , a buffet style with hot and cold options. They have a bar and an evening restaurant, but we couldn't quite work out the evening meal options. English language skills are limited, and the small family team work hard/are stretched to.cover the bar and reception. Check-in is after 1600... quite late but enables them to cover the lunch period in the restaurant. All in all, a great stay and location is absolutely everything here 👍

Very good location, near car park and the village square. Also close to many good walks, e.g to Sad Hill Cemetry, Camino El Cid etc... It has the atmosphere of a typical spanish small hotel, not like a chain hotel. Breakfast was fine, but the food at dinner was superb, I can recommend the leg of kid and the lamb! Foyer area is nicely decorated.

Nothing really.

Great location for Sad Hill Cemetry. Hotel located in a little quiet village. A couple of little bars/restaurants. Great for a short stay. Beautiful scenery. Free parking is down the road or paid underground parking at the hotel.

We were there mid week, so the village was extremely quiet, but to be expected. Maybe nice to have tea and coffee in the room.

The staff are amazing. Everyone makes you feel so welcome. The room was super clean. The breakfast was great found some of my new favourite food. Going down for an ice cool beer on a night was was relaxing.

Nothing wrong with anything at this hotel. The only thing that was hard to get use to was the surrounding shops closed during the day. This is only a difference in cultures and something to get used to.

This place is absolutely stunning. It was clearly designed by people with excellent taste and some fine interior decorators. We were amazed to find such a wonderfully appointed hotel at the price we paid. And the staff could not have been more helpful, even going so far as to leave the hotel to guide me to the parking facility.

If street parking is available, it is recommended over garage parking as accessing it is a bit treacherous.

Beautiful location, the town is typically Spanish, a lovely village with beautiful countryside surrounding it. The building is very traditional, great atmosphere all around. The room we got had a huge bed and loads of storage with different sizes of mirrors. Breakfast was good, fresh. Heating was superb, it was pretty cold at night but we didn’t notice, finally a hotel that doesn’t keep the temperature low!

Parking was a bit tricky at times as the road leading towards it is pretty narrow but not much of a problem. If you speak Spanish, you will not have any problems whatsoever, otherwise there’s always google translate.

Central location. Large room. Pleasant atmosphere. Warm welcome.

Very tight underground parking ( whatever the receptionist might say). Dining room a bit characterless and food OK but not spectacular.

A nice place, comfy beds, great shower, very good breakfast, just opposite the monastery, very clean, attentive staff, fridge in the room...

A mixed bag really. Overall it was really good but then no staff to be seen, we booked the parking and they didn't book it, allegedly the room had views and we had a wall/roof in front...Bath side panel not properly secured...
