The apartment was beautiful and our balcony looked out over the valley, which was stunning, especially on clear nights. The beds were super comfortable and the apartment decor was lovely. The washer/dryer in the apartment was also really useful.
The afternoon sun was (thankfully) bright, but meant the living room and kitchen were difficult to sit in during those hours. Other apartments had sun shades; I think they would be a great addition. There was no information/welcome pack about how things in the apartment worked, which would have been helpful for the heating system, etc. There also wasn’t anywhere to store skis and boots - the on-site locker room is for apartment owners only, and it’s a long way uphill to carry everything from the apartment every day. We ended up leaving our equipment in the store room under the cafe in Slaata, which worked well.

Excellent location. Unbeatable! We also really liked the bakery and restaurant. The beds were very comfortable. The decor was lovely and the kitchen well equipped. The shower was excellent and we appreciated the products. It was great to have an apartment with a kitchen and living room.
The slope down to the apartments was very icy and quite dangerous. I fell over (I am not used to walking on ice but I am very sporty!). It really needs gritting more effectively in the winter. Also the sauna area was full of kids both times we tried to enjoy it. At one point the Jacuzzi had 6 kids, one with a snorkel and an inflatable. We felt there should be a window of time when the sauna area is adult only. We had to unload the dishwasher on arrival. It was completely full of clean things. Also one of the bedrooms was very small. the bed touched the wall at each end so you couldn't walk past it. We felt there should have been a hairdryer in the apartment.

Absolutely perfect layout of a what felt like a new luxurioius 4 bedroom apartment. We were 4 adults who enjoy spending a holiday together yet want our own space, some privacy and relaxation. The apartment is beautifully designed, spacious yet cozy and tucked away at the end of the hallway. Very private and no one can look in from other apartments. There is a fantastic view, especially the large curved balcony and from the kitchen sink! Best washing up view you can have at a mountain resort.
The dishwaser, although new and of good quality, did not work very well so we did the washing up manually. Am sure it was just a filter or something that needed fixing but our stay was too short to make a fuss and there was no one really to inform or ask for help. The beautiful view from the kitchen window helped!

The lodge was right off the main road, easily accessible, check in was easy. It was close to supermarkets and stores so you could just walk across the road and explore city centre. We stayed in one of the apartments and it was super cosy and comfortable, definitely exceeded our expectations there. Check in was really easy and having pizza, bakery and restaurant on site was great considering we had been on the road for most of the day.
Water temperature in the shower was a little tough to gage, would fluctuate from cold, to warm and just hot for a second. This was at multiple times of the day morning, afternoon, and evening. Because we were staying in the apartments, it would be great if there could be a more direct pathway from them to the lodge or at least one that is safer than the steep drive. There was ice on the roads and we saw a few individuals falling as they were walking down, including kids.

The hotel is unstaffed. We did not see any staff members. Self check in went well but we had a difficult time finding the building the apartment was in. The kitchen was very nice, The beds comfortable and apartment new and nicely decorated. The hotel is in a convenient location.
Self check in with no staff that could be contacted. The Highlander opens in June . But they continue to rent out rooms during this period of the low season.

Accommodation was spotless. Very modern and clean. All facilities you needed were there. Good location for Slattata skiing. Amazing pizza restaurant...so good we booked a 2nd eve while still there. Lovely spa and pool...great for relaxing after a day skiing. Reception and check in very good. Friendly and helpful staff.
A toaster in the room would have been nice... More grit is needed on the path from the room as very icey on some days. A welcome pack with local info and instructions for facilities in the lodge.

Really lovely apartment, plenty of space, comfortable seating and dining. The seating area outside a bonus With regard to hotel bar/restaurant, just superb, the staff were lovely and couldn't be more helpful and food there excellent
Found for a ski apartment, great lack of space for clothing. Absolutely no hanging rail nor were there drawers. There were pegs for jackets etc in hall but nothing in bedroom

The apartment was very modern and comfortable and a good size. The beds were very comfortable and there were light proof curtains in the bedrooms. The settee was spacious and comfortable, there was a huge television. The kitchen had a full size dishwasher and was well stocked with everything we needed to cook. There was plenty of tableware. There was a full size dishwasher. Lots of cupboard space. Great power shower and a spacious bathroom.
The path and steps leading to the apartments were not gritted and were very slippery. We had a couple of problems with the heating and the dishwasher and it was difficult to contact maintenance to sort them out. There is no reception in the hotel so all queries have to be directed to the restuarant staff who are busy serving. We asked for help three times and we were told that the manager would respond but she was nearly never in the hotel and never got back to us during the week we stayed there.

Amazing room, very elegant furniture and a really comfy bed. The room was on the ground floor and offered a balcony with wooden furniture. Very easy self check in and the pastry shop within the facilities is a great option. Plenty of parking space, though we were there off season. We really enjoyed our stay there and surely recommend it.
I didn't understand why I had to make the bed myself, it wasn't a problem really, but I've never been in a hotel or apartment where the beds weren't already made.

Nice location and nice apartment with all the required equipments.
We surprisingly learnedthat the apartment was not managed by Highland Lodge but by an independent person. We had a question and we needed to manage on our own. It was not expected. There is no one at the front desk (automatic check in). So if you have a question you cannot have any answer and if you manage to get, the personnel does not speak English very well. Few people speak English.
