The room exceeded our expectations; I thought two of us had to sleep on the sofa in the living room, but there turned out to be a second bedroom separated by a curtain. Perfect for two adults with two kids. Nice facilities, very comfortable beds! Two bathrooms, one for each bedroom. We even had two balconies. The cleaning staff were very nice.

The stove watch kept beeping after we had cooked, even when the stove was turned off. One of the showers leaked a little. We missed a proper coffee maker for filter coffee. We also missed staff (digital check-in, no staff) and breakfast- but this would probably also make staying there more expensive.

No breakfast available just cafe where you can buy sandwiches and coffee and take to your table. Would have been nice proper served breakfast. However the quality of food in cafe and the bakery were excellent as was the coffee. And friendly wonderful staff.

See above. Also bathrooms quite small but very clean and functional. Also - a shame that several large rooms, a restaurant and a bar are empty without service and the spaces are very nice. It would have been nice to have more use of these spaces.

It did the job for a night at a good rate. We ere driving back to Oslo so we needed a room for the night halfway back. Room was big and had what we needed. It is completely self service as it is not really a hotel so there is not a front desk.

The lack of staff might some off but everything worked the way it should. The cafe was not open in the morning for breakfast so you have to go into town.

The pool, soft play, pool table etc. Kept our daughter and teenage relative entertained. It was a nice walk from the centre of Geilo.

Limited food choices in the resturant. Bed was a bit annoying as two separate mattresses which kept slipping off the base. Lack of clarity about room facilities (what to do with rubbish, towels for swimming,, random stuff in boxes in kitchen area)

The room and the hotel were clean and I liked the style. The view from the hotel position is also nice. The restaurant is good, and they provided a great service catering for dietary requirements. I also appreciated the position, easy to access with a car.

Unfortunately there were renovation works involving the floor near the swimming pool entrance, so we had to take a secondary entrance through a cold corridor.

It's a full hotel complex with a very nice restaurant (great evening menu). Our room was enormous (family size) - essentially, they combined 2 separate rooms into a family suite. Free parking on site. Very quiet area.

Extractor fan was not working did ask at reception was promised someone will come to fix but nobody turned up in our 7 day stay.

without a car, and without a regular bus service, you end up either walking to town/back form the shops, or taking expensive taxis.

The room was very comfortable and clean. The kitchen was well equipped. Beds are very comfortable.

Not enough storage space. Some of the closets were locked and so we didn't have much space for our clothes. There was no shampoo in the room, and we had to ask for it. The pool was closed for maintenance and there was no note on the website.

Very comfortable, warm, quiet, good location, clean, lovely swimming pool and sauna. Altogether excellent.
