An old and veritable building was renovated with good quality materials and work. The rooms are big enough, well fitted - mini fridge, air conditioner, nice and cosy bathroom. No balcony. Good sleep in good beds. Nice bed linen and towels. The hallways are nice, veritable, clean. There is an elevator for the clients. The hotel has its own terrace/restaurant, very nice, in the Big Square (Piața Mare), which closes at 24:00 every day. Good service, prices as one can expect in a place like this. The breakfast is not a buffet, but a meal served in your own plate. You can choose from 4 or 5 breakfast menus, one is vegetarian. Also, each menu includes an expresso and an orange fresh. Very good breakfast!

The power in the room is activated by the card which unlocks the door. So, when you are out of the room, no power, not even for the fridge. I think you can ask for the second card at the reception.

This hotel is right on the main square, very near all the sights in town. The hallways and rooms are wonderfully decorated. The hotel is very clean. The hotel staff are very nice. The restaurant that is also part of the hotel has a nice terrace that looks out on to the square.

My room was so dark and dim I could not read. The light bulbs were very low wattage. Adding brighter lights would make this wonderful hotel even better.

First of all I liked the placement! It is amazing to stay right on the City hall/ Market Square/ etc. ( call it how you want) Second, the stuff was so nice polite positive and friendly in a business way- not intrusive but trustworthy. 3rd point is that you have great restaurants, cafes, Starbucks, even convenience mini store at you hand . 4 the bar seems to have everything - though I didn't spent my time there. I loved the picture on the wall, the desk ( because I used it) and the hard mattress for my backpain- 10/10 The shower had good pressure and the morning shower with Scottish ending was good way to start the day. Parking lots are all around the hotel and you can easily find a spot. I would like to book in advance for the Christmas Market - pretty sure is the right spot to be! The minibar has water and soda. The stairwell is amazing and clean , and I loved the architectural good taste . The colours are used perfect.

The rooms were very big, clean and very nice decorated. The bed was comfy. The breakfast was okay - the traditional Romanian style. It is located right in the city center, so you have everything the center offers right at hand.

The first room we got opened the windows to the corridor. Every time someone passed by, they had to open a door which closed very loudly and the lights went on. This was very disturbing and we woke up very often. Also, the room didn't ventilate properly as there were no windows to the outside. Additionally, the lightning was very 'romantic'. In the hall you couldn't see much.

The hotel is located in a beautiful historic building located at the central square of Sibiu (old town). It's nicely decorated inside and the rooms are specious and very comfortable. Everything was very clean. Rafał & family

To accommodate our 4 persons family, the hotel provided us an inflatable mattress which flattened during the night and was very uncomfortable. In addition, finding a parking place for a car in the center of Sibiu may be a challenge, but it's not a hotel fault (the hotel has no private car park).

It was our 2nd time at AmRing during Sibiu Christmas market and we will be back for sure, as there’s no better place to stay and enjoy the magic of Christmas in Sibiu during this time of the year. Our room was oriented straight to Piata Mare and the Xmas market, so we had the most amazing view. I was literally glued to the window until the lighta of the fair where turned off and back at the window first thing in the morning :) The rooms are clean and spacious, very well heated and very confortable. The old and very charming historical building is still very well preserved. Nothing to complain, very good value for money

There’s nothing not to like, especially during that time of the year

Staff is great, Vlad was very supportive. Location is excellent, general cleaning is good. We had two rooms, one room with king bed - room size was excellent, generally good cleaning, wash room, towel, hot and cold water was good. mini bar was working and good. air conditioning was working very good. Our room was away from stair entrance, and was quiet. Hotel is right in Piata Mare.

- We had two rooms, the other room with two beds was really small in size. One of the glass had strains (was not clean when we checked in) and washroom tooth brush glass was filled with hair (this was notified to reception and they welcomed the comment). The smaller room is really small and can only be used for sleeping - like a hostel. There was no shelf in bath area to put shampoo / soap etc. Our room window was only opening towards corridor and practically useless.

Location was perfect, directly on the Piata Mare. Beautiful views. Walking distance to all sightseeing locations. Hotel has beautiful furnishings in hallways, a true Romanian experience. Also, beds very comfortable. Restaurant downstairs has very good breakfast choices, good food, large portions and nice outdoor seating. Our request for a 0130 check-in due to a late flight arrival time was accommodated without problem. Front desk personnel very helpful and pleasant.

No complaints or disappointments.

The electricity in the room is activated by the card which also opens the door. When you pull the card out, the electricity stops. Including the mini fridge. Ask for a second card at the reception.

Lovely decorations in byzantine style, original oil painting on wall, incredibly clean and comfortable bed, smart tv, wifi, clean floor and room overall, good food restaurant downstairs, friendly staff. Really good stay.

We were a little unlucky, as the window of the room was facing the corridor, no natural light, may have been that we booked late in the day and not had a different room available so not a fault really. Also in corners of the shower room there was some mildew. But overall very good.
