HOSTAL WAS EXCELLENT . QUAINT AND QUIRKY FIRST CLASS SERVICE . STAFF WERE HARD WORKING AND VERY FRIENDLY.. HOTEL IS RURAL BUT HAD BAR AND RESTAURANT GREAT SERVICE REALLY LOVELY FOOD IN THE EVENING AND BREAKFAST WAS JUST HAS GOOD WOULD DEFINETLY STAY AGAIN.

Everything was good didnt like the stairs but i wanted the balcony option cant hsve one without the other but receptionist helped us to the room

Horche is already only a small town and the hostal is some way from it so it is not a place for those seeking an active social life. But that was not our ambition and we found our stay there an entirely positive experience. The room was a pleasant one with a small private balcony and an extensive view. Though the pool was not open, the grassy area around it was attractive and lent itself to some quiet reading and the dinner was first class. Our host/manager proved to be extremely helpful and recommended an onward journey the following day which we followed. We could find no possible criticism.

Staff were fabulous. Excellent communication with Robert from booking to leaving. Restaurant stays open late which was good as we arrived at 9pm. Menu lovely with a selection of delicious meals. Dog friendly throughout and property set snuggled into hillside with beautiful views from bedroom window. Ample car parking. Perfect stop over for anyone travelling south to north or vice versa.

Nothing negative about the property. It’s fabulous. Route to get to it is very winding and I wouldn’t like to drive there in the dark on a first visit but in daylight, it’s fine and signposted clearly at the entrance. It a lovely hotel with a great restaurant. There is a swimming pool and terrace too. The staff are lovely but not all speak English but I speak enough Spanish to get by so it wasn't a problem for us at all. It's a great place to stop if you are driving through Spain near Madrid. It is very good value for money. Petrol is available off the motorway at Guadalajara and Alcala de Henares at supermarkets with very good prices. If you are travelling from Northern Spain to Southern Spain (or visa versa) than you can avoid the A-1 motorway by travelling the scenic route instead via Logrono and Soria to Guadalajara (or visa versa) through the Parque Natural with impressive rock formations.

has full kitchen , bar , and wait staff. helpful desk person. helped me store some thing I needed to keep frozen. showed how to operate doors. inferred to carry bags. easy parking. nice patio. lots of dining sitting options : dining room inside, covered or uncovered outside , or bar. breakfast was substantial and delicious with fresh orange juice and great jammon and freshly grated tomato options.

everything was great but here's some tips: driving directions are confusing and apple and Google maps don't show the highway exit right. so don't overshoot it. the view rooms have nice large private balconies but view includes the highway so it's not as quiet as the buildings own courtyard space so no need to have the view rooms if you don't want the balcony space.

I really liked this hotel because it was out of town, with easy access to the N-320. Plenty of parking. The staff were great, and even though there was a language barrier, (I try to speak a little Spanish, but I'm hopeless) the staff did really well in making themselves understood. They even had an English menu. The pool is fabulous. After feeling like 'aliens' when we first arrived, it took us no time to settle in - everyone was go lovely to us.

Lovely hotel set in a scenic location fairly close to the motorway with an excellent restaurant. Dog friendly, no extra charge. Good Spanish breakfast included in the price.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful setting not too far off the beaten track. It has a good restaurant with exceptional steaks. The staff are friendly, there is also a swimming pool. Spanish breakfast is included (toast, tomato, jamon, juice, tea, coffee)

The beds are a little firm for me but not really a problem

Stayed here previously as it was so good. A bit in the wild but lovely setting. Good sized room & bathroom with piping hot water, so need to be careful. Manager very helpful. Great choice of dinner menu & very very tasty. Best to eat in

We have stayed here before and it is a lovely hotel. We had a top floor room with a balcony and a great view. The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant has good proper food and is reasonably priced. We both had a steak course for around 22 euros each. The meal was fabulous. The hotel is only slightly off the beaten track and a good location for us travelling to Malaga. It is dog friendly and you can walk your dog around the grounds it nearby. The accommodation is clean and there was a good shower. Breakfast was includes snd was a typical Spanish breakfast I'd toast and tomato or jam, with juice and coffee or tea.

We couldn't get the TV to work, but we went to sleep after dinner so it didn't matter to us.
