Found it very comfortable, had amazing sleeps in a great bed. Loved the view. Also will tell others that Kaka Point is our countries best kept secret. We will be back. Upon arriving home the proprietor phoned to tell us she had found a pair of hearing aids. She also said that she was coming to Dunedin and will deliver to our letter box. Excellent service and very greatfull.

Didn't find anything to not like

We can self check in late in the night its really useful. There is anything you need (more pillows, blankets…). The room is spacious, there is a sofa so it’s like if you have a living room and a room. The view on the ocean is amazing and the location is definitely perfect to go to see the sunset or sunrise at Nugget Point Lighthouse (20min drive)

The shower is not delimited, like there is no shower box, the floor of the shower is the floor or the bathroom

Fantastic ocean view, you can enjoy the ocean view while having meal at the balcony + star gazing at night. Full kitchen facilities but the nearest supermarket is located at town 20 minutes drive.

Washing basin is quite small in bath room, and two separate taps for cold and hot water. So make us brush our teeth and wash our face at the kitchen sink. Minor issue: box of tissue paper not available

The views and the beach were spectacular. Such a good location. The facilities were great. We had everything needed to cook and shower. Items you wouldn't expect too that were super handy. Love the use of eco friendly products and Will & Able dishwashing liquid. Will definitely be back and for a longer stay next time. Has been our favourite place in a week long trip.

Loved the studio overlooking the seaside garden and ocean view! Great happy hour counter and outside patio!

Did not like the shower putting water all over the bathroom floor. Ideally, you need to have Crocs on. The bed sank in the middle. Otherwise, we loved it! The location was perfect. Walk down to go to the beach to see the sea lions basking in the sun, and take a 15-minute drive to the walking trail to see the Nugget Point lighthouse, and watch the sunrise at 7 am was special too!!

The motel exceeded my expecation, super nice enveriment and comfortable sleeping experience, it's such a nice place to find in a small town like this. And the staff is super friendly, keeps remindering us about dinner option, fueling advise, it was quie an experience.

Would've been better if there is a cooker hood on top of the induction cooker

We always try to stay here when we go to Kaka Point, we have enjoyed each of our stays, the service is wonderful, the location perfect and the rooms comfortable, clean, roomy and with fabulous views. The walk up the hill is just what is needed after a wonderful meal and a couple red wines at the restaurant below.

Everything. The best motels I've stayed at in a very long time. Everything about it was great. The owners are lovely, friendly, down to earth welcoming. Our motel was perfect, view was exceptional. Yummy fish n chips from the caravan and perfect weather. Highly recommend

Had to leave to go home

Really lovely spacious unit, well set out, clean. Bed and furniture comfortable. Great views of the beaches and surrounding areas. Could see the Nugget Lighthouse flashing in the evening. Ample parking space, plus there was a ramp in addition to stairs, so I could easily move my bag.

The microwave was rather high on the wall.

Lovely family apartment. It felt nice and homely and comfy. There were plenty of big windows to capture the amazing view. It felt light and airy. It was good having a dining room table and sofa too. Parking was roomy and easy. We went to the local restaurant which was very good and staff friendly. Need to book in. There is a very basic shop attached that you can buy bread etc so you can make toast for breakfast. There are no other supplies in the area or petrol
