Nice for budget travellers. The owner is super nice. You can always have a chat when you meet him. But as a budget Guesthouse they don't serve breakfast. I just found one option near the Guesthouse, but I had I nice Mediterranean breakfast in there. It is not far from the old part of town (try to find the elevator from downtown).

Well, it is a budget Guesthouse, so the toilet and shower is in the hall on every floor (for 5 persons). I had it just outside my room, so no problem. I choose to stay in a smaller room even if I made a reservation for a bigger room. But that room was on floor 4 and there is no lift, so for me, as an older man, that was not an option. So if you're not young check with the owner on which floor you have your room.

The staff was friendly and helpful, and the hotel is located in a good neighborhood in Marburg, a 5 minute walk to the city center. The room was clean and the in-room sink was helpful. Also, the wifi was dependable during my stay.

The hotel comes as advertised. The front desk is not open for most of the day, which is fine for me but maybe some guests would prefer more of an interface with staff. Also, the shared bathrooms can be a bit much for those used to normal hotel rooms.

It was clean and well prepared. Everything like expected. It is not a 4-Star-hotel (never told so, the price is absolutely correct and well according to the conditions!), but everything correct described and prepared. the staff was very kind and helpful. The checkIn with keybox was well organized, i would expect the email a little bit more early, but we got quick and easy all answers we need. Everything is ok, why i have to write negative points ? I do not want to think about something negative, i have a good feeling for that hotel and stuff.

Roland, the hotel manager, was very friendly and helpful. I came to stay here in my first day in Germany to study as an international student and on top of the regular excellent service, he provided me with the essential information to ease my transition to Germany. The hotel itself was right in the heart of Marburg. There was many restaurants and supermarkets within 1-2 minutes of walking distance. The facilities in the hotel was also very clean and the common kitchen area was quite big and was a very good place to socialize with the other current residents. If you are looking for price/performance along with very good service I recommend the place!

Quirky and different and so comfortable. I slept better there than I do at home! The manager was lovely and could not have been more helpful.

I didn’t like not having my own shower and toilet but I knew I would be sharing when I booked so my own fault really. But that didn’t spoil my stay at all and I would definitely stay there again

We spent 1 night here and the location is great. Short walk to the old town then up the hill to the castle. Plenty of shops and restaurants around the hotel. The hotel is quite quirky and the rooms are decorated interestingly. There is a common kitchen which was nice to make a cup of tea. We would stay here again.

We stayed in the department store parking as suggested by the hotel but it ended up costing €13. Also there was no shampoo, conditioner or body soap in the room.

The hotel was excellent. Clean, comfortable, quiet. The service was excellent, the staff 100/10. I super recommend it, I stayed for a month and had no problems at all, the owner and staff were super friendly and helpful. Definitely the best hotel in Marburg.

The guest house is very cosy and all the rooms have differentially themed decoration. A shared kitchen can be used for preparing tea and coffee, storing groceries and there's a microwave.

The room next to the common bathroom was very noisy.

The visit to the hotel was a very pleasant one. Mr. Roland, the hotel manager, is one of the sweetest guy that I have met since my arrival in Germany. He was very welcoming, helpful and was willing to help in whatever ways he could. The rooms were very neat and the facilities were top notch. I would recommend this place to everyone visiting Marburg.

The room was disney-themed, very nice and cozy, I felt home. The building looked like a house too, so it did help with feeling comfortable, instead of looking like a steril hotel. The owner was extremely kind and he let me leave my luggage in a storage room for a couple of hours after the check-out time without any problem.

I had more than one heavy luggage and my room was upstairs, but without any elevator, so I had to bring them all one by one up on the steep flight of stairs. The rooms are not very soundproof, and the windows don’t have blackout curtains so technically people could look into the room from the buildings next to it.
