In the past forty years, I stayed in hotels, this one was the first that looked better in reality than in the pictures provided by booking.com The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. We book a stay at Hotel Opál at the drop of a hat.

The gate to the parking lot only opens when you get very close to it. Too close for my liking. - There are no signs directing you to the parking lot, thus, I had to ask the receptionist how to get there.

The breakfast is plentiful and varied. Dinner was exceptionally good. The cleanliness of the rooms was perfect and as soon as we entered the room, a very good smell permeated the whole place. The hotel staff is very helpful and friendly. We will definitely come back if we visit gyongyos again!

I booked last minute, the rooms were very clean. Even when checking in late someone came to the desk immediately to check me in. Very friendly and attentive staff. Great cleaning personnel!

Small details: TV could be Smart at this price - 99% of the chanels are in Hungarian, uniteligeble dor foreigners. Parking gate has no sensor from inside, you have to ask at the reception to open in the morning

Breakfast. At 8:50 was just rest of some meal. Eggs and sausage were great.. but rest of not much. Cakes not much and good. Coffee too not so good. But only breakfast was average. Rest was great.
