Very clean, and reception was always easily accessible when I needed questions. Everything was fantastic, we had a car so it was just a short drive down to where we were going whale watching. There was an AC machine considering the hot weather. There was ice in the mini kitchen which we really needed for our water bottle for being on the go.

The only thing was it took us a little time to figure out how to get the shower water temperature just right, but we eventually got it! And it was perfectly fine.

Amazing location, very comfy bed, the room was very cute and not as outdated as I saw other rooms on the pictures, great view from the window to Saint Lawrence River ( I was lucky to get that). Only one small set of stairs, as I was on the first floor, great water pressure and temperature in the shower. The facility has two separate entrances and two kitchens, one in each section.

As everyone says: thin walls. The day I was in people were very respectful and tried to be quiet, but there was rain, and balconies are not water prove, water goes through. The water on the neighbours balcony was dropping and hitting something metal and the sound was amplified. I forgot my ear plugs, so was very difficult to sleep. The kitchen in my side of the hotel did not have a kettle, so I had to go to the other side through the street to make my tea. :(

Quietness. The owners had thought of everything practical you might need. Comfortable rooms. Room and bedding very clean. Lovely view of the St. Lawrence. Ample parking. Easy access to town and restaurants and entertainment. Gorgeous scenery in the area! A lovely place to go!

Possibly the lack of breakfast. You had to get your own each day. A little more info on local attractions would have been helpful. Someone to greet you who, although helpful, was more comfortable speaking English.

Room had cute decorations, view from the property was beautiful over looking the bay. Had a shared kitchen area and sitting area with the other rooms. I would describe this more as a hostel than a hotel.

Have to check in before a specific time, and not being from the area my timing was off on how long it would take me to get there, but they do warn you about that a head of time. I found it expensive, considering to me it is more like a hostel, but it was on par with the hotels in the area.

Room was adequate in size, small if you have lots of luggage. Bed was comfortable, the bathroom was small but functional, could use some towel hangers. Water is available in the common kitchen.

Air conditioning is an auxiliary machine that occupies space in the room, the bathroom has no window, so humidity stays for a while and I would suggest adding towel hangers.

Location, wonderful staff, history of the hotel and area, hotel very well maintained. Your lovely cafe/bar sunroom and live afternoon music, all the old photos of the hotel and the growth of Tadoussac had a very enjoyable dinner with a beautiful view

Very bizarre paintings in the lobby of people with no faces, we didn’t get it. No refrigerator in the room to keep cold drinks in. Only one elevator and small

The front of the hotel looks out over Tadoussac and the view is lovely. Wood-panelled room with cottage vibe. Smallish shower in a perfectly functional bathroom. No coffee-maker in the room but there is a kitchenette with a coffee-maker and coffee pods for sale (2$). The walk into town is steep but not very long, however the way back seemed longer. We walked down to the whale-watching boat and were happy we did not have to find and pay for parking.

We were unable to extend our stay as the hotel was closing for the season.

Very clean place. It is obvious that was refurbished lately. Not so far from downtown where all attractions are located. A little difficult for coming back walking uphill specially after a good dinner. :-)

Little things like on my room (#17) the window mechanism was broken and could not close it. The in-room air-conditioning was noisy, and we hat to turn it off during the night. There are other hotels in Tadoussac that have split air conditioning that are much quieter. If they will install split heat pumps that will help for winter heating with savings on the electric bill.

Lovely little hotel! Walkable to the town if you're willing to go back up a big hill on the way back. There was just a bed in our room and one small chair so there wouldn't be much space to relax but it's perfect place to rest your head! The receptionist didn't speak English but we were able to check in just fine! Free parking is great.

View of the river wasn't quite as unobstructed as we expected but still nice!

Access to a full kitchen that was clean. Also, there were chairs outside to enjoy the wonderful view! The room and washroom were clean and they had soap from a dispenser, which reduces waste. The staff was very friendly.
