We always love the pools and have a great time. The property is beautiful and we love the suites for our family.

We were told like a week before our stay the main pool would be closed. Just sucks that you don’t get any credit for a future visit since all of the amenities aren’t open. That would have been nice or like a free night stay at another visit to make up for inconvenience or not having any food on site and having the main pool closed. We stayed here because we got married here two years ago.

I absolutely loved the atmosphere. The staff was amazing, from the front desk, bell desk, and the staff in the on-site restaurants. The JD Lounge was our dinner spot. The lounge area with the firepits at night was gorgeous, especially with a happy hour drink in hand. I tried my first Bloody Mary in The Garden breakfast restaurant, and the food was very good. The shuttle service to Old Town Scottsdale was a nice amenity. The property was in the process of decorating for the Christmas Holiday, it really had a nice feeling. The hospitality of the entire resort was so nice that we booked again for next year, 2025. I also want to call out the front desk staff, Ciana and Roderick, and the bell desk gentleman Dan.Their personalities were awesome, and there were a lot of great laughs!

There was not anything that I didn't like However, a recommendation I have is that it would have been a nice touch if there were firepits on the villa patios. This is just a recommendation, not a bad review.

Location

They are under construction, so the restaurants are closed and other areas that we usually enjoy. However, we have enjoyed our visit and we’re not inconvenienced.

Excellent hotel. The rooms were superb, the pool facilities were fantastic. The restaurant was top quality. We loved it and would recommend it to anyone. The staff were also excellent (Shout out to Barb!).

We did have an issue with the charges we were billed for. The hotel took more money than we spent and then took longer than expected to refund. It all worked out in the end and we were not overcharged but they made numerous mistakes and did not communicate with us at all. 5 working days later were were refunded all charges we were owed without an explanation. This does not change the fact that the hotel is fabulous.

Very spacious and comfortable room. Two large and comfortable beds. Good location and beautiful grounds. Short drive to Old Town Scottsdale. Would recommend.

The wifi situation was overly complicated and frustrating at times. There was a separate wifi for the room and when we left the room and came back, we had to always put in the information again (email, name on booking...) to be able to connect to the wifi again. Then there was a separate wifi for the pool area. The safe in the room didn't work so well and on the second to last day it somehow stopped working so we couldn't lock it and therefore not use it. Made us uncomfortable. No response from management really and no compensation.

Location was good very quiet place. They have hot tubs. The stuff was amazing. The food was great and really high level highly recommended breakfast.

Interior was really old, but justify the price. My other problem was the shower heads they were too dirty Also, the vent was the biggest problem once you turn on the light, the vent turning on and it sounds like you turning helicopter. I didn’t realize the midnight I went and I woke up everyone because of it it was sounds bad. In the shower was amount of shampoo and body shower conditioner very low.

The main pool was crowded, but a lot of fun. There were some secondary pools as well, so there were lots of options. I did not eat at the dinner place but the breakfast place was really good. Beautiful landscaping throughout the grounds.

The rooms are a bit outdated, but they are clean and comfortable. My main complaint is that I think it’s very overpriced for the quality of the rooms. You’re really paying for the amenities. On the other hand, it’s still much cheaper than the Camelback Inn, and about the same product.

The villas were large with a patio and balcony. They have the biggest bathrooms. The beds were comfy with lots of types of pillows to choose from. The breakfast divine! We choose to stay close to the airport and close to family. There are tons of shops and restaurants close by too!

There were attached villas and you could hear the person next door as if they were in the same room. So, if this kind of noise bothers you this would not be the place for you. I am not sure about the other kinds of rooms. It is off a busy road but once you are in there you do not notice it. The place is older but really wonderful value overall.

The pools and hot tubs were great, especially the hot tub by the main pools (which was as large as a pool itself). For a very large property, it was exceptionally clean and walkways were well lit after dark. Felt very safe for my 2 grandsons to roam around and play outside. Food and drink options were good.

We had a double queen suite Courtyard Pool for 4 nights in November. I have no complaints, but guess I expected a little bigger fridge (very small). A bathtub for the kids would have been nice. Overall we have no complaints.

It was set up well for groups

The floating price! We paid nearly $400 for a flat. King bed 1 bath, our friends stayed in townhomes 2/bed/2bath for around $200. When I asked the front desk she said the prices go up and come down. It just depends. I was not happy about that at all and I felt like I was taken for. I probably won't stay there again for that purpose.
