Breakfast was fine, plenty of gluten free options available (I emailed in advance to request them). Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very close to shopping and resturants, felt safe while travelling on my own.

Stayed in a single room which was very small. Ceiling height was higher than the width of the room. Due to the size of the room, didn't fancy spending any extra time at the hotel. Bathroom was clean, water pressure was good. Approx. 15-20 minute walk from the station (while pulling my luggage), but the route was very simple and hotel was easy to find.

I felt as I was staying with a family I have known for many years. What a very special experience which you won’t be able to get in other hotels. The property has a brilliant location in the centre of this wonderful city and close to everything.

For me, nothing beats a well run, stylish and homely hotel. The Belle Epoque is such a hotel and I would much rather stay here than at any of the 5* hotels in San Remo. Ilaria, Vito and Ivan were extremely hospitable and when I visit the gorgeous town of San Remo again in 2026 I will book at the Belle Epoque, subject to availability of course!

Nothing. It was superb. I speak as a regular business traveller staying at 4 to 5* hotels throughout Europe.

This is an old hotel with a great location. The room was quiet and had a partial seaview. The reception staff were great, spoke English and assisted with everything you might need. The breakfast was exceptional for Italian hotel: everything fresh, both sweet and salty things available. Your selected coffee brought to table.

The hotel is old. No elevator. The room was rather small and - being old - the wooden floors were really squeaky. Bathroom was ok, with a bathtub. As always with bathtubs, you compromise a bit with the shower. It worked all right but you need a bit of acrobatics if you prefer to shower standing up. I booked rather late and the selected period was very busy in Sanremo, so the price was a bit high.

What a charming hotel and the owner and her family made it a very special place. It is in a great location for restaurants and shopping. The breakfast was the best we had on the trip. Loved it. There isn't an elevator, but the stairway is steep but you feel like you are walking up a bit of history. The carried the bags, so don't worry! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Loved this hotel so much! The owner was incredibly kind and helpful, and the room was more spacious that I was anticipating. Beautiful view of the beach, each walk to everything. Excellent breakfast. They let me borrow a towel to bring to the beach :) Would definitely come back!

FYI there was no lift, which was no problem for me, I like the stairs, but just a heads up!

Very thoughtful and friendly staff. Very good insonorization of the room.

Maybe one or two more towels in the bathroom. I stayed in winter and I found the room a little cold at my arrival; surely you can ask at the reception to heat it, but if someone is in a rush, taking a shower in a cold environment can be a bit uncomfortable. Nevertheless nothing huge.

Central location and quiet (with good windows). Old fashioned charm and our room was spacious. Very friendly staff who take a pride in their hospitality. Stay here!

Be aware you need to take luggage up the stairs, it’s a good workout. Rather limited breakfast choice compared to other places.

Good selection of coffee and teas, and basic breakfast with excellent fresh croissants and other pastries. Scrambled eggs and bacon also available. Very good value.

Although we were only in San Remo for one night, the Hotel Belle was perfect for us. The location was perfect, too. The male receptionist jotted down a few sites to see on a paper map and offered dining suggestions. We followed his advice for a perfect, unguided, tour of San Remo.
