The best part is having a washing machine inside the cabin. Perfect for us who didn’t bring lots of clothes to do daily wash. Cooking is easily done with good utensils and dishwasher. A/C Heater is adequate to keep all of us warm during our stay. Heated blanket in the main bed was useful as we are not used to Tasmanian winter.

Our fully loaded car struggled a bit to climb the steep road to our cabin located up towards the small hill. Other cabins are below us. Need to drive to shopping malls and city centre, which is pretty much normal for a tourist park.

Comfortable beds; well-stocked facilities (milk, soap, coffee, tea, cutlery, tableware, etc.); friendly staff; loved the cabin even more this time than the last - layout in #24 was fantastic for our family of 5! The outdoor facilities were also gorgeous, but weather prevented us from spending time outside...but there's always next time, and we will very likely be staying there again when our travels bring us back to Hobart (we live on the West Coast of Tassie).

The only thing I can think of is, perhaps, an extra pillow or two or an extra couple rubbish bags in the bin. But generally everything was great; I can't really imagine anything that would have made the experience better.

Location was excellent. Easy access, close to family (who live locally), Hobart city and national parks nearby. Comfortable cabin, good amenities on site. All staff were welcoming.

No issues at all with accommodation, park facilities, staff, or location - all great. Some noisy campervanners on a couple of nights (but 2 nights out of a 2 week stay, not so bad).

Friendliest staff I have experienced in such a long time, had such a wonderful check in experience. Staff approachable and genuinely want to make your stay as great as they can. Cabins are clean, have had some modernising done and comfy bed!

Only thing we would note is that how our cabin was laid out meant our kitchen window backed onto the cabin behind us smoking area and our neighbours seemed to be constantly out smoking so we couldn’t have it open while cooking and the fan wasn’t enough to stop the fire alarm going off (but hey that’s our bad cooking obviously and only a minor inconvenience outside the properties control, just something to note!)

Self catered. Our son & family were in a more expensive apartment and we enjoyed dinners with them. There was plenty of hot water, adequate shower, comfortable bed, air conditioner, We booked late so were grateful to have accomm.

It was a basic cabin and I found the stove a bit challenging so would have liked a barbeque included outside..I know there is a general barbeque area for patrons on the site so I guess you get what you pay for. The fridge was too small but it didnt matter as our son had a large one.

Our cabin was spacious, bed was comfortable, shower was fantastic with great pressure, warm and with everything you need, including dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, wifi :)

A bit run down, could do with a lick of paint, but that didn’t effect our stay, smart tv would have been good to be able to stream our own Netflix ect

Location, while not central is excellent for travel around the area. Well kept cabins with everything you need to self cater or very short walk to family friendly Ridson hotel restaurant next door

Noise from main highway. Can't avoid due to location but we noticed it more in this stay as in end cabin 36 and main office serves as sound barrier to other cabins. Not awful, just more noticeable early morning.

The cabin had backyard for the dog. Park has playground and big trampoline for kids. Laundry was cheap and close. Reception runs a little convenience store. Whole Park was well maintained and clean. Excellent location for visits to the zoo or Richmond.

The Derwent highway right in front of the park was a bit noisy during the weekend.

We only stayed 1 night, checked in late and out early but found the cabin to be very well equipped and the staff turned the heaters on for our arrival. The queen bed was so comfortable, I normally don’t sleep well first night anywhere but certainly did this time. From what I could ascertain with limited time the property was very tidy and well maintained.,

Unfortunately, I didn't end up staying there. Not because place was bad in any way at all. I have stayed there before. It was a great place, clean, close to everything. As I was unable to stay, due to booking. Com mucking up the booking. The staff were amazing and understanding and went out of their way. I can't thank them (Teaghan) enough. She was amazing 👏
