The location was incredible! Karen is super friendly. Everything is well thought out. I didnt travel with a car- but there is a bus stop close by (infrequent and no service on weekends and public holidays however). Super comfy bed! gorgeous views! It was the most relaxing little spot ever! the breakfast options were great and really helped! I brought all my food with me and prepared it in the cottage. No eateries within walking distance- having a car is a must if you want to travel around and eat out. Also no footpaths almost anywhere outside the city of Hobart. Taxi ride from the airport was +$80 (AUD- but it was a Saturday). All the appliances were in working order. The cottage was as advertised.

Maybe put a sign/note with the booking so guests can keep the volume down for TVs etc- you can hear everything thats going on in the next cottage.

The host made everything possible for a comfortable and pleasant stay. The cottage is spacious and gorgeous and in a prime and quiet position on the river..This has been one of the best accommodation we have stayed in . Having breakfast supplied for everyday of our stay makes for great value.

We could not fault anything.. yes it is about 13kl out of Hobart but you will be rewarded with an excellent accommodation and views

Location beside Derwent river was fabulous. The seats beside the river were great. A bottle of wine while looking out over the river and watching the sunset was not hard to take. Location was dead quiet and very comfortable. Even though it was up the river a bit, it didn't take long to travel to where we wanted to go and the benefits outweighed the little bit of extra time to travel into Hobart. Definitely one of our preferred stays in Tasmania and have no hesitation in recommending it.

Otago Bungalow was delightful. All of the facilities in the bungalow were fabulous. The decor was tasteful and the location by the Derwent River was peaceful and relaxing. You definitely need a car to be able to see the sights as public transport is limited. However, our stay here definitely added value to our holiday. Furthermore, the owners? Karen and Tim , were very friendly and very helpful.

Location was perfect on the banks of the Derwent River, a 15 minute drive into Hobart city. Breakfast foods were provided for us to use - eggs, bread, butter, spreads, milk, 2choices of cereal, orange juice, fresh fruit. A new deep bath was a luxury in addition to the shower, and washing machine, dishwasher.

Nothing needs improving - Excellent accommodation!

Beautiful and relaxing location with good access to Hobart and surrounds. Accommodation was just perfect for our family of 3 - extremely clean and equipped with everything we needed for a wonderful break. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us!

AMBIANCE view and location, the ducks and the bunny bobtails made for a pleasurable experience

too short a stay, couldn't show all our friends; the hot tap handle in the shower falls off and the basin spout leaks. all fixable! .....you asked, and we had to say something. lol

Location was great, easy access to Hobart and Tasman Peninsular Views across Derwent River. Country feel, Wildlife to watch from window, Homely, well cared for feeling. Very clean. Lots of little extras, breakfast was satisfactory.

Only down, was the lack of an upstairs toilet.

This property was absolutely amazing. The cottage was immaculate with good information about local attractions and restaurants. You look out the back door and see the water and from the waters edge itself you can view Mt Wellington. We had basics like coffee and tea provided but also milk, bread and some bacon and eggs as well. Cannot recommend this place enough. Amazing

Beautifully appointed accommodation with stunning views across the river to Mt Wellington. Communication with owners was great. We loved being so close to Hobart to go and do things there but out of the city bustle. Would definitely stay there again if we come back to Hobart.
