We had a very nice stay at the hotel. We selected it due to its proximity to Longwood Gardens, which was fairly close by. The staff was friendly, our room was clean, the beds were very comfortable, and they had a great breakfast selection. We enjoyed the large indoor pool and would have tried the machines in the exercise room if we had more time.

We suggested that they add a few more chairs by the pool and in the computer area. Extending the pool hours past 9:00 for adults would be preferable, as it is hard to get to enjoy the pool if returning to the hotel after 8:00 from having dinner out.

Always a great day at this best Western! The bedding is so comfortable towels are really large and thirsty, really enjoy the keurig and their coffee selection for it …including half-and-half. It’s a little thing, but they have large bottles of spring water for sale in their little shop, which is really good when you come in from a long day and you don’t feel like going to the store. They do provide two small bottles of water in the room, but I like a lot. It’s so comfortable there that I am able to fall asleep even though I have to get up at 2 am for an impolite early flight. This is not something I can usually do it any other property…it’s a pretty short trip to Philadelphia airport also. The gym is well equipped and this visit I could get the TV to work for the channels I really like while using it. This time they had someone making omelettes on demand for breakfast, but I was not able to try them … sure, hope they have it again next visit! Cost is reasonable and the lobby is much nicer than most hotels, love the marble stairs! The exterior is also very attractive with manicured gardens and the illumination at night even seems colonial… is very welcoming! I had to adjust my dates of stay when I first checked in. This was no problem, even though I reserved through a non BW site. Surely appreciate this! I look forward to staying again!

I only wish I could’ve tried the omelette Station!

This is my go-to hotel in the area and I am disappointed when it is booked up or some event drives up the price too far. The beds are super comfy, the towels are thirsty, the keurig is great and they have the all important half and half. It is quiet, the aircon is not too loud. I didn't get to the breakfast this time, my flight was too early. It is a quick trip to the airport from this property, which is always a bonus. Lots of pillows to choose from. Overall hotel appearance, condition, cleanliness are top notch!

Wish I could have had time for the breakfast offering. If I must say anything, it is a bit difficult to get the TVs to work right in the gym, I never did get the sound on one, just captions, the other I could not get into submission. Am not a fan of the vessel sinks, but everything looks brand new.

Everything in the hotel was updated, modern and clean. Easy access to our room from the back parking lot entrance. Very spacious room and even the bath and body products smelt great. Breakfast was the best included hotel breakfast we've ever had. Tons of hot entree options. Staff was very friendly. Great location by major highways and about 20 minutes from Longwood Gardens.

Only complaint was the loud ac unit in the room. When the unit would kick on it made a loud noise that sounded like the room door was opening or closing. Had us jump a few times in the middle of the night.

Air conditioner was very loud every time it turned on which was especially annoying throughout the night & prevented a restful sleep.

Over the years I have stayed at many Best Western motels, but never one like this. This hotel was unlike any other BW motels I have ever stayed at. Everything was immaculate. There were no stains on the carpets, walls or drapes in the room or outside. Never have I seen a BW hotel with marble bannisters, countertops in the bathrooms or window sills. the free breakfast was better than 95% of the hotels we have ever stayed at. the food was excellent with a huge variety of eggs, pancakes, bagels, fresh fruits and much much more. The staff even advised me to join the HW rewards program which gave me a considerable discount on the current visit.

The air conditioning in our room seemed a little loud.

The hotel looks newly renovated. The lobby is welcoming and the front desk staff were very pleasant. Our room was clean, spacious and the bed was comfy. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. I'd definitely recommend it for someone visiting the area.

The Breakfast (free) was only OK- recommend paying the $4 and getting the omelette. Could do with more choices. The pool room could do with better ventilation- chlorine smell was overwhelming.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the room had all amenities that I could want and more. The bed was considerably more comfortable than my own bed at home! Definitely one of the three best hotels in which I have stayed during 35+ years of traveling for work, learning, and family gatherings.

These are very minor -- but I would have appreciated a larger bottle of body wash and glass or crockery cups in the room, rather than plastic, in consideration of the environment. In that same vein, it would be great if there could be recycling containers added to the rooms.

Our room was comfortable and spacious. If you plan to use the pool, it is long enough to swim laps. The breakfast was generous with choices of cereals, fruits and hot buffet items. The hotel is in a wonderful location, minutes from Longwood Gardens, the Brandywine Museum and parks with trails. There is a variety of shopping and some very good restaurants in the area.

The pancake machine was broken, and the walk to the car in the rainy, windy weather.

One of my go-to stays in the area. I like the rooms, beds, gym, and the breakfast is generous. Bedding and towels are excellent. Plenty of parking. Airport is a quick trip. The Keurig cups and half and half are a favorite amenity of mine. The day desk managers are very kind and interactive. They sell extra large bottles of water, which is nice. Would be happy to return.

Had some issues with billing when unexpectedly trying to leave early due to booking hereon, followed by double billing. Worked out with my credit card company. The gym TVs could not be accessed for two days, noted at the desk but it wasn't addressed during the stay.
