The breakfast had lots of option and even two kinds of waffles. Bacon, eggs, Chobani yogurt, oatmeal. Plenty! I didn't try the lobby coffee, but I really liked the in room coffee, it was great. Half and half was available and that is a big deal to me. The bed, pillows, and linens were very comfortable. The toiletries were sulfate free and not made overseas, higher quality than the usual offerings. Carpet was clean. Grout and caulk were well maintained. Chick filet is in immediate proximity as is Texas Roadhouse. Hampton is not my usual choice, but this one rose above my expectations. I am impressed and may even replace my previous go-to in the area, especially if the price differential remains as great as it was.

Maybe the hand soap could be liquid, too, to save on bar soap waste. No microwave, but I didn't really miss it. Air conditioning was a bit loud but not a huge deal. For some reason, the lights didn't turn on by the switch but there is a motion detector light in the bathroom (which can be turned off with a push button). I didn't spend too much time experimenting with these to figure it out. The gym looked a bit sparse but I didn't have time to use it and evaluate.

No fresh fruit at breakfast so only option for gluten allergy was yogurt. Also, the day before, I received an email inviting me to check in on the app. but the app would not recognize my confirmation number and told me to call a phone number. The phone number had nothing to do with the app and overall, I wasted a half an hour trying to do this. When I mentioned it on check-in, the front desk woman said “oh that’s because your room wasn’t ready yet. “ so my question is why send me the app? Why not say” your room isn’t available” instead of “we don’t recognize your confirmation number and you need to call this phone no. “.Why make me waste all that time?

The property was pleasant and clean. The continental breakfast was very good.

We were there for 30 minutes (about 4:00pm) the power went out and a tornado watch alarm sounded on our phones. We had no idea what to do or where to go. No backup generators and power wasn’t restored until 3:30am. No discounts were applied for our inconvenience and need to buy flashlights and lanterns. Said it was a booking.com policy

The room was comfortable. The toilet could have been updated - as it was a little dated. However, we enjoyed our stay and breakfast!!!!! I love the Hampton Inn & Suites!!!!

The pool was out of order and the toilet in the room could have been newer. Otherwise - great affordable quality stay and service!!!!!! The Morning Checkout person was amazing!!!! We had no issues with our late check-in either!! Thoroughly enjoyed!!!! Great property location and clean!!!!!!!!

Staff was great. Hotel rooms were great. Location was excellent.

The pool and hot tub were not functioning. Because we boked through booking.com there was no information to this effect when we made our reservation. This is a problem and not the first time that this happened to us. We book hotels based upon the availability of the a pool and hot tub. This is a situation that needs to be resolved by booking.com

Great location to Longwood Gardens, as we needed a hotel with Queen beds. I always travel with my own pillow but not this time and was so happy with the ones they had, some softer than others to choose from. Mattress a little hard for me, but I’m the picky one in the family 😆 I need a gel topper for my back issues, otherwise room was great, exceptionally clean. Great water pressure. I usually hear doors slamming shut in other hotels but NOT here. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of hot and cold items to choose from. Texas Roadhouse and Chic-fil-A pretty much on top of the hotel if you needed dinner. Will definitely stay here again.

The property was clean and welcoming. The front desk representative Krystle was welcoming, kind, and you can tell she really strives to make the guest have the best stay as possible.

The air conditioner in the room was extremely loud! It made a real bad rumbling noise and no one can sleep like that so we had to turn it off at night which made it hot in the room. The pool area was nice however the temperature in the pool room was extremely hot. With the pool water being warm and the room being hot it felt like a sauna so we couldn’t enjoy the pool for long.

Great and well executed breakfast buffet. Good food and good choices available. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Signed us up for the rewards program when we realized this was a membership we missed getting. We travel a lot and were glad to have another hotel chain that we can count on.

The only small issue I had was the carpet in our room (#239). The carpet was slightly frayed in 2 spots where the carpet met the tile sections of the floor. The room was very clean and well maintained except for that 1 minor issue. We stayed at the Chadds Ford location since we were attending a wedding reception nearby. It was such a delightful stay, we will definitely come back.

This was an amazing stay. Far enough away from home to feel relaxed, but close enough to home for a short ride home. The location was great. The staff was accommodating and friendly. The room was roomy and comfortable, and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud. I will definitely stay here again.

I had trouble checking in due to a third-party booking snafu. The front deck personnel were calm, professional and apologetic for something that was obviously not their fault.

water pressure and water temperature...and I brought my own pillow because they are always way too soft in hotels. (There really is no place like home.)
