Very clean and I wasn't expecting to get the second biggest room. I thought double rooms are relatively small but I managed to fit both my luggage and ski bag.

Probably the breakfast seating area. Could be bigger so guests do not need to pack it in the disposable box.

A good location in the centre of town, near the shops and restaurants. Parking is limited but hotel staff helped us reserve a spot. A decent selection of mostly Asian food for breakfast. A handy base for day trips to Daisetsuzan national park.

Good, freshly-cooked, Japanese breakfast. All the needed amenities provided plus yukata. Loved being able to drop off luggage prior to check-in time. Great staff working hard to serve and to keep the hotel clean.

The blanket was soft and fluffy. Room is value for money. Conveniently located with good food nearby and JR Asahikawa station is also with close proximity.

Nothing too big but the buffet breakfast is in the lobby itself, which is somewhat odd.

The hotel location is good. Everything you need is close by within walking distance. Staff are friendly to make you feel comfortable.

16:00 check in time is a bit late but not a big deal.

It may not be the best Toyoko inn in Japan, but it’s still great value with breakfast included. Convenient location near the station. Staff were helpful and cooperative - I asked for an extra pillow and was given one. I’d be happy to stay here again.

Localization and cleanliness

This hotel chain is stingy on cafeteria space. serving breakfast in the lobby and eating at the elevator and reception is neither nice nor hygienic.

This was one of the great hotel we ever stayed in Japan. The service was great, the food was delicious.

Friendly and helpful staffs, nice breakfast and clean room, I will definitely recommend this hotel!
