Great location and easy access if you take any bus as they stop right infront of the hotel or at most 100-200 meters away only. The JR train station is really nearby too. Their breakfast buffet was delicious and had good options, they do change some dishes every day as well. Love that they give you a free drink(non-alcoholic/alcoholic options available!) and curry rice in the evenings! The staff were all very kind as well.

This is just my personal preference that room pillows were too soft to my liking but they do provide different type of pillows at the lobby. It is first come first serve, so be sure to grab one when you check-in.

Very comfortable and clean room in a great location - about 10 min walk from the station, and close to lots of shops and restaurants. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Very good choice of food for breakfast, and a relaxed dining area. Great value for money overall. I’d stay here again.

The room was a bit warm but the aircon seemed to have been disabled. I did manage to open the window a bit to let some cooler air in. The bed light had been removed, which was a shame but not a huge inconvenience. Had a few problems getting my room key to open the door - the staff reset the card and it did sort of work, but still a little temperamental.

Happy hours 18:00-20:00, 1 drink per person Beer, whisky, wine, oolong tea and orange juice Service corner at lobby, you can get extra pillow, humidifier, charger, facial cleanser and lotions, razor and after shave, coffee and tea etc… Room is vintage but has everything. King size bed. Comfortable and clean. They clean your room everyday. If you put “do not disturb “ sign on the door, they will leave clean towels on the door.

Toile seat is not heated.

The best thing about this hotel is the location and it's delicious free breakfast and happy time at night. I book 2 times for 2 days with different room for each day some reason. Because of it the staff offer to make it into one room and upgrade it. I am very happy and satisfied with it. Very kind staff. There's this male staff who always greet us with a beautiful smile.

I found some dirty spot inside the hotel like the toilet. I can see the hidden part from the mirror and it disgust me finding some dirt spot in it.

The service of this hotel is superb! I visited Asahikawa for snowboarding and stayed for 5 nights. I enjoyed free breakfast and free laundry (both washing machine and dryer are free) so much. Not to mention the automated parking system (¥800/day) is right at back door which is continent to load-unload our snowboarding gears on every day in and out. Super recommended for people come to Asahikawa for any purpose.

Nice, small older hotel, with very helpful and friendly staff. Standard (smaller) rooms with good beds. Quiet rooms. Great location near excellent restaurants in nice part of the city. Elevator-style parking right in back of building. A lovely happy hour with snacks and a free drink.

Lobby is a bit stark (no where to sit and relax other than in the breakfast/happy hour table area).

pillow was too soft and fluffy - need more western breakfast option, if you are late for breakfast most food is over and refill is not done. better coffee machine would be nice. happy hour only allow 1 drink but i as a foreigner saw some Japanese have 2 or more drink but I don’t understand what is the rule? my understanding was 1 drink per-person is free but May be I can have more ? I don’t know. they serve curry rice in happy hour but I think it’s not necessary as people taking advantage of it and have it like dinner. but if you come late then curry and rice is finish. so you have to come early if you need free food like breakfast and happy hour food.

Basically the above was my biggest surprise and reason for being absolutely thrilled during my stay. The dryers were in the shared room, but being able to at least do the washing without taking a step outside was superb. I didn't personally use it, but a microwave was also inside the room. The location too was nice, a short walk from the station and a great shopping mall. There also was a shared manga corner (in Japanese) and apparently welcome drink and free curry between 18-20 (didn't check it).

There was unfortunately some dirt (mold?) under the toilet's bowl's rim, which was an only stain, pun intended, on my stay. I have to admit though that cleaning staff personally asked me if everything's okay and I said yes because I didn't want them to go inside with all my belongings spread out.

Buffet breakfast was good. Happy hour was provided and free - had a good selection of alcoholic drinks and curry + rice was also available. Unfortunately, due to the timing we didn't make the most of it. Free laundry and ice.

Can be a bit of a wait to collect your car from the automated car park but it was great to not have to shovel snow off the car each day.

Nice hotel only about 10 minutes walking from the station. I stayed there 2 nights (not consecutively) and I had both a double room and a single room. Both rooms were spacious enough, had all the comfort one might need and beds were comfortable. Everything looked clean. Free to use washing machine and dryer on the 4th floor (you can purchase a single dose of laundry detergent for 50 yen at the front desk), manga corner (if you read Japanese), ice machine. Happy hour in the evening with 1x free drink and snacks.

I wish they catered more for different diets: I am vegan and I contacted them 1 month in advance to inquiry whether there'd be anything I could eat for breakfast, and they replied advising me to book somewhere else. I found that a bit rude, but I figured it was probably the language barrier. I decided to keep the option with breakfast included and there were indeed a few things I could have: other than coffee and juice, white rice, some vegetables and pickles were available. It wouldn't be difficult to offer some plain tofu, beans and having 1 choice of non-dairy milk.
