The villas were beautiful. The grounds are gorgeous. Super pet friendly. The staff was very responsive.

The restaurant sort of meh. Breakfast buffet was overpriced. Maids woke us up at 8:50 am to ask about housekeeping- on a Sunday. Too many wasps at the pool to swim one afternoon.

We stayed only one night in this hotel, but we were satisfied. We got what we saw on booking. We had a good, clean room with private bathroom, the restaurant on the top floor was really nice, the pool was smaller than i thought and that it looks on the pictures. But they have a bar there and you can order drinks being inside the pool.

The pool was too small.

Good location, 5 mins drive to Chapala and 15 mins to Ajijic (need a car to come here though) - Spacious room - Good window soundproof - AC works fine - Nice views from the room as well as the restaurant

Wifi has a firewall that prevented me from connecting to my work VPN, so it was useless to me. - Parking indoors is insufficient, they use it for people that go to events and parties instead of giving priority to guests. - Breakfast is good but not enough choices, and coffee is really bad. - No safe in the room - Shower head was dirty and obstructed with scale

I liked the place, the gardens, the pool, the bed and the way we were treated by everyone.

The shampoo pump was not working in my room. I got sick to my stomach the last night I had dinner there. I also don´t like that there wasn´t a lot to do in the hotel and that you couldn´t put food and drinks on your tab by giving your room number in the pool area. You had to pay in cash. Who brings cash to the pool?

The location, pool, facilities and design is very modern and well constructed.

I would have liked to have been offered and informed of some of their amenities and specials. Mainly at the restaurant, the waitress were not apt to offer what was available. Was looking forward for a nice ribeye steak, but they did not have. Also, the pool was on the east side of the 4 story building, where after mid morning it was in the shade for most of the day. Would have liked to sun bathe.

Gated security that made me feel safe. Clean property, friendly front desk staff and especially every staff in the dining area. I enjoyed the buffet in the weekend. Room was very clean.

Only 1 day our housekeeper forgot to clean our room other than that everything was great.

Very nice hotel and a nice bright room. I could see the lake out the window in the distance. The staff was friendly and spoke some English. The place is very secure if you are concerned about that. A guard has to let you in and out. It's a 5 minute drive to Chapala and 10-15 minutes to Ajijic.

Very hard bed, so avoid this place if that affects you. I didn't sleep well.

Sorry, I ordered hamburgers, the presentation was nice, but the rest, no, I didn't like it, otherwise excellent.

Clean and comfy rooms. Comfy beds and well designed bathrooms. Pool is warm and clean. Restaurant has convenient hours and delicious food and drinks. A terrace overlooks a beautiful view. Away from the hustle and bustle, yet easy to get to.
