The location by the sea is amazing. Also, the restaurant and the bar are absolutely great. Staff (with one exception) was the friendliest and most helpful.

It is not a hotel with a pool but rather a hotel by a public pool. They let in anybody for just 10 euros and often hotel guests do not get spots, because the pool area manager lady (who was quite rude to us every day she was there) books sunbeds for external guests as well. This is illogical - a 250 euro per night price for hotel guests while anybody get the same access for 10 euros and can have priority over the hotel guests.

We were staying in a “Deluxe room” with a private pool, the room was clean and well designed, we had everything we wanted to have! Service was spot on even on the main poolside the waitresses were available to order from. The restaurant was spot on, “Fine dining at it’s finest”, we went to multiple restaurants on the island none of them were on the same level as the hotels restaurant! If you visit the island one of the must do thing is to have at least one dinner in the restaurant! 10/10 The bar was well designed and well organised, the coctails had decent pricing and everything was made from quality resources, top level friendliness! Staff was amazing, friendly, helpful and skillful.

This is our second time visiting Villa Di Mare and we would highly recommend. The location is stunning, the food is exceptional (they cater to all dietary requirements which is perfect for me being gluten-free) A very relaxing destination.

Superior club suite with private pool. This was a sun trap, fully shielded by the wind. The pools were all freezing but refreshing. Comfy soft bed, and comfortable firm double sofa bed. Very clean. Great friendly staff, they couldn’t have helped more. Great location, roughly 8 shops, bars and restaurants opposite the hotel, and a 10 min drive from old town. The beach isn’t really for swimming as it’s hard to get into the sea over the large rocks. But plenty of beaches a short distance away. Gorgeous view of sunset every night from beach bar. If you have breakfast included it’s all you can eat from the menu.

Freezing cold pools. Didn’t really enjoy the breakfast menu. Otherwise amazing stay, would stay again in a heartbeat.

Location, the rooms were more than adequate, we had our own private pool as well as the main pool for everyone. The bar area and lunches. The setting was peaceful, right on the coastline. Even though access to the property was from the main road to Rhodes town, once in the resort, you didn’t hear the traffic. The staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. We only ate an evening meal here once but it was a beautiful meal. We found the prices of drinks and food were higher than other places on the main road, but I’m sure that we were also paying for the location and the service too

Nothing. The road running past the property was very busy and crossing the road wasn’t always easy. Yet within the property this wasn’t a problem at all.

Waiters are all amazing and super helpful Rooms are spacious and cleaned everyday (housekeeping are also lovely & accommodating)  We stayed in a room with a pool for half the week and then moved to a grand suite (which we had originally booked) because of a rooming issue which was sorted out by the lovely liaison lady and we were compensated for the annoyance. Both rooms were spacious and beautiful. Hotel restaurant and bar were top tier. Food in restaurant was outstanding. Wish there was a more extensive menu but highly recommend the Pappardelle and the beef tagliata. If breakfast is included in your stay then you can choose an unlimited amount of food from their a la carte menu. Omelettes, bruschetta, pancakes, yoghurts, savouries, sweets. Breakfast was awesome. Time for breakfast was 9-12 which was ideal for the kind of holiday we were having. On the one day we had to be out early the hotel provided us with packed break fast the night before. The pool was super clean and cool. Even though the hotel/pool was open to anyone, beds were always available/reserved for hotel guests. Beds were very comfy and adjustable. Bar staff always around to bring drinks/food. Towels changed everyday. The sea is very close, >2 mins from the pool and it was safe to leave our things by the pool while we were in the sea. Rhodes new town was our favourite area for food. It was quieter than old town and less touristy. Traverso Italiano Avocado/Christo's bar were our taves. In Old Town we liked Il Borgo for pasta. Old town was romantic and beautiful but most restaurants are gimmicky. Rhodes new town was our favourite area for food. It was quieter than old town and less touristy. The only criticism I have of this hotel is that there is loud music playing for the majority of the day. Tunes were fun but when you just want to relax and read this wasn't ideal. I wish there had been a few hours in the day (maybe morning) where no/quieter music was played. The restaurant menu was excellent and the food was outstanding, but it would have been good to have a couple more choices.

We really enjoyed our one week vacation at Villa di Mare. Our breakfast was included in the price and we could choose as many things as we wanted from the a la carte menu, which had a variety of options. The restaurant also had a very good dinner menu (probably the best in the area). The location was great - right by the sea, supermarkets nearby and only a short bus drive away from Rhodes town. The hotel service was very friendly and we felt taken care of.

From Friday-Sunday there was a DJ playing music beside the pool and it was way too loud for us. Felt more like being in a club rather than relaxing on a vacation.

The staff were exceptional, worked their socks off to make our stay a wonderful. Location was perfect being next to the beach and lots of eaterys close to the hotel. Cocktails were the best I have tasted on all the holidays all over the world I have been on. The club room with a pool was lovely with cooking facilities shouldvyou need them.

The only couple of points i will make are - We stayed in a club room with a pool at the right side of the hotel. Our patio area with the pool wasn't clean when we arrived and wasn't cleaned for the 10 days we were at the hotel. The decked area around the pool is in need of some repairs as quite a few of the decking boards were damaged, loose and some had raised screws from the wood shrinking that were noticeable, which could cause serious cut if stood on. These didn't affect our holiday experience as it was fantastic and we would come back to the hotel in a heart beat.

The view , sunset , access to sea , size of room , amenities in bathrooms at high quality, sustainability at breakfast as they served as Al a carte to avoid wastage and maintain zero waste policy , the team are helpful and trying them best to serve them guest , dinner at restaurants is very good and at highest quality service , the manager (sorry forgive my memory) is very qualified and guest oriented and excellent knowledge, the taste and presentation of food during dinner was a culinary experience.

Just as recommended to open breakfast earlier as 9 am is bit late , lunch menu is limited and some descriptions need to be more specific like you have fish dish and usually you think it is grilled as nothing mention and it is came fried which I did not appreciated with no follow up or questions any feedback. The room wall not sound prove toward restaurant and it is direct to them kitchen with all noise and movement in back area -I would recommend to close the door above the view of pool and some maintenance is required there ,this is was the only point was not good , rest is fine .

The room & personal pool in the seaside suites were fantastic.. extremely comfy bed & sun loungers.. Our suite got the sun all morning & could then sit beside the sea or use main pool later. The restaurant food & the bars cocktails were exceptional! Staff were very helpful & friendly.

The soundproofing in the room wasn’t great we had a couple of disturbed nights from noisy neighbours.. although there is a 24 hour reception so could have asked them to intervene.
