The view and the room with sea view was great. The beach is very close and pleasant, as there are not as many guests as in the larger hotels and can be reached comfortably in 5 minutes through a subway.

The sea view room is also close to the main road. Therefore the street noise is quite audible (even with the doors closed) and every morning before 0600 there is loud noise from lorry deliveries or collections. The shower in the bathtub was unfortunately leaking. We always had to put an extra towel on the floor, otherwise half the floor was flooded! The buffet in the morning is o.k. - but for 2 weeks always the same to find unfortunately less varied.

The location was good for access to the beach and to bars and restaurants. The hotel was lovely and clean and always had a lovely scent around the corridor areas. The rooms were nice and clean with good facilities and toiletries. There are plenty of sun loungers around the pool so there was always somewhere to relax. The staff were really helpful and friendly.

The only negative is the noise from what we think is the ventilation or water processing out the front of the hotel. I don’t know if this is processing for the spa or swimming pools or ventilation for the main hotel. This was quite loud and intrusive when sitting on our balcony on the 7th floor.

Pools especially the roof pool, sunset bar for cocktails, the little areas dotted around like the waterfall garden off the reception and the roof terrace. Staff were also friendly.

Bathroom in the room was tiny. The shower was literally just big enough to turn around. The shower door may as well not have been there as all the water flowed out into the bathroom under the door. Small things like the “games” area was a bit run down, the sensor lights in some of the public restrooms around the hotel were not working so the place was in darkness. The sun loungers around the larger pool/ adult pool were in need of a makeover, stained and broken. All small items but the hotel is expensive so the small things matter. The reception staff could have been a little more helpful with information on buses, deals and directions of facilities within the hotel, but they were nice.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was very nice with an amazing view from the 10th floor. The beds were really very comfortable. The breakfast was super tasty and there was a lot of choice for everyone. Parking included. Beautiful pool and leisure activities in the hotel. I also rate the choice of restaurants in the hotel positively. Thank you very much for the wonderful time spent and we will remember Rhodes only in the best way :)

The reception should be able to provide information about the bus to the airport when a guest asks, and not just offer a taxi as the only option.

Good location, very helpful, friendly and attentive staff. Great pool and beach. Very nice bar. Lovely breakfast with friendly and excellent waiting staff.

The room allocated on arrival was in a corner with a restricted view and lacked privacy as people were able to see right into the room. Our room was changed for us after 2 nights. The new room was smaller. The view was excellent though. There was a sewer smell in the bathroom. We did not bring this to the staff’s notice as we did not want to seen as complaining as we had already changed rooms. I expect that the cleaning staff bring this to the attention of management. These comments are for the purpose of assisting in making some improvements.

First of all the staff at the hotel were amazing - whether around the pool, in the restaurants, in the bars or in the spa. They did everything to make our stay enjoyable. The food in the buffet, in Valkarola and by the pool was fabulous! My daughters and I had wonderful massages - the Cretan one - would highly recommend!! Location was great - through the tunnel to the sea, a short taxi ride into Rhodes town (worth it!) and lovely running / walking paths by the sea. My husband also hired a bike for a few days and explored most of the island!

As the weather had been bad the prvious week, the upstairs pool, the tennis courts and two of the three a la carte restaurants were closed. We weren't informed of this on arrival and only found out when we went to book. One of the reasons we chose Amus hotel was for the dining so for us this was a little disappointing.

The hotel has lovely facilities. The pools on the top floor are great, particularly the kids pool when travelling with little ones. We were on our honeymoon and the hotel went above and beyond to make us feel special

The hard sell after spa treatments for further treatments and/or products. This ruined the relaxation and came across as desperate. The constant ask from staff in the spa for trip advisor reviews too was annoying - they're clearly incentives based on sales and named trip advisor reviews - the "big boss likes evidence of what we're doing" but for a 5 star hotel this just seemed contrary to 5 star service or luxury! Breakfast gets a bit samey but there is a lot of choice.

The location was 10 mins from the airport and very close to town. Shops and restaurants in the area, bus stop right outside hotel. Staff exceptional in all facilities. There are plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from. We got upgraded to a duplex room with fantastic views of the beach and pool area. The room and bathroom were very spacious, and the room was serviced daily.

There was no powerpoint in the bathroom. It could have had a covering on top for safety reasons. It is very inconvenient, having to dry and straighten hair in the bedroom. Also, this policy the hotel has for no air-conditioning till the summer season starts, on 15th May, is utterly ridiculous and inconsistent with a 5 star rating hotel. We had very warm days and nights, the room temp reached 25 degrees, and it was very uncomfortable. We were told there was nothing they could do, that the system only operated during the summer season. So, if the weather decided to reach heatwave conditions for May of 30 and above, they would do nothing?? Funny how they had aircon running in the foyer!! Also, the beds only offered doonas, with no sheet offered. It's very weird for warm conditions.
