Gret location in interesting town with lots of histor and culture. Room ws spacious and bright, bathroom was very clean and functional. Breakfast credit was helpful; Catalyst Coffee was friendly and fine. We will be back.

Our first room was drear and overlooked lobby - not acceptable. Molly at the front desk changed us to a much nicer room and we are grateful! Need to be careful in future to book a good room.

The breakfast was a $7 coupon to the coffee shop on premises. Coffee was excellent but the morning we used it there the cupboard was bare - not many pastries or other options. Room comfy, Staff great! Also enjoyed the free shuttle from the hotel to the performing arts center. Friendly driver and such a convenience when you are from out of town to be driven to and from the shows.

The lobby was lovely, and I ate at the in-house restaurant. The food was delicious, and the staff was delightful.

When you are charging almost $200 for a room, I do expect the room to be kept up. The lampshades had holes and were falling apart, the wallpaper was peeling at the seams. It was clean, and I love old buildings in general, but it looked like there was serious deferred maintenance issues.

Interesting history of the hotel, large spacious room, nice bathroom and shower, very clean and nicely decorated, pleasant staff.

Very noisy. My room faced the street, so I got lots of traffic noise. I also got noise from the adjacent room and squeaking floors.

This might possibly be the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in. The restaurant food was very good. They were very helpful in working with my fried to accommodate her food allergies. The front desk staff was welcoming.

The only reason I didn't give 10 stars instead of 9 was that there were spots on the carpet in our room. Not just a few little spots, but several large spots. Parking was a challenge but partly due to road closure and construction. Their garage was full.

The charm. Huge Room with comfortable beds. Very clean. Excellent Restaurant for dinner. Very friendly staff. Walking distance to Andrew Johnson sites. Great atmospheric town.

A/C was noisy but tolerable. Breakfast option not great. A $7.00 voucher for the local coffee shop attached to the hotel which covered a cup of coffee and a pastry.

Majestic, elegant and quaint are just a few words to describe this masterpiece of a motel! My room was exactly that!

The only thing I would have improved upon would have been facial tissue. This is my second stay and I’ll do it again, but the cost of a room was entirely too expensive. There are no other choice of accommodations in Greeneville except days inn.

Well taken care of and yet full of history

I wish the breakfast was an actual continental buffet breakfast. It was ok but wanted more. The handicapped shower got water all over the entire bathroom floor but we lived the size.

Christmas time was the perfect time to visit! The decor as we walked in made us feel like we were in an upscale NYC hotel! It was so warm, inviting, and enchanting, especially for the value. The history of the Inn is evident in every detail. The front desk associate was friendly and efficient, even remembering my name in the morning! The deluxe single room was very spacious and I loved the old charm of the 4 post bed, faux fireplace, and bathroom vanity. The heat lamp in the shower was a great amenity too! I wish it wasn’t such a short trip so I could visit the attached restaurant/bar. The menu posted in the elevator for the restaurant looked fantastic. There were a variety of muffins, granola, coffee, and fruit cups available in the morning in the lobby which was enough to get us through until lunch. The best part was enjoying it by the beautifully adorned fireplace and towering and elegantly ornamented Christmas tree. I would absolutely stay here again.

The sheets could be improved as they were scratchy/rough.

It you are looking for a hotel that takes you back in time, this is it. This is a great historical inn, staff are very friendly. With the old entrance and high ceilings, beautiful decor.

They give you a ticket for breakfast for $7, anything over that you pay for. Most servings are $5 and up. Parking is very tight and difficult to locate the parking lot.
