The location is rather good only if you want to be close to the sea/beach and to a very good restaurant by the beach (Polito). We booked this hotel strictly to spend the last couple of days close to the sea, not too far from the airport. I wouldn't recommend it for a normal longer holiday as there isn t much to do in the village and any shop is rather far away to walk in the summer heat.

There were ants in the bathroom. The pool terasse was also kind of neglected. The other guests were noisy and annoying even around the pool. The staff could intervene more...The hotel is rather old. But again, it was fit for our purpose. The staff at the reception was very helpful, the breakfast was okay, considering it was the only place to have breakfast in the morning. Not much to see or do in Castelldefels otherwise. The sea in that reagion had jelly fish, the restaurants on that beach are very dirty and nowhere to wash your hands or feet. But nothing to do with the hotel, rather with a general state in Spain lately...getting worse every year.

Excellent apartments. Booked 30 minutes in advance. Was met by a very polite employee, helped to park the car in the internal parking lot, showed the kitchen and other good features of this hotel. The room was clean, good mattresses and linens, high ceilings and a quiet place, there is a lounge area and a kitchen. The windows of the room were overlooking the courtyard, and in this courtyard you can relax in the evenings, hide in the shade or sunbathe in the sun. Excellent and hospitable staff and owner. I recommend to everyone!

Perfectly adequate stay on the coastal suburbs of Barcelona The room had a very comfortable supersize double bed and nice bathroom. Fridge, safe and large TV (but no English chanels) Good breakfast with fresh orange juicer, warm options, fruit, pastries, cheese, hams, cereals and delicious fresh bread Great restaurants close-by nearer the seafront

It would be hard to criticise our stay but if we could change anything to improve the experience..... 2 chairs would have been good so we could both sit at the balcony door in the sunshine. A plug for the sink /bath was provided on request at reception but did not fit the plug hole Would have appreciated bottled water for each day of our stay USB Phone charger sockets are now an essential in all hotel rooms

Nice clean hotel. Staff was very friendly and professional. The neighbor hood is quiet and very close to the beach. There is a main street a few minutes walk from the hotel with excellent selection of restaurants. Choice of food for the breakfast buffet in the hotel was great.

We had a few big bags - but the hotel did not have luggage carts in the main lobby for guests to use to transport luggage to the rooms. We had a car so finding reasonably priced parking in the vicinity was impossible. The hotel provides parking, but at a steep daily price. We also wish the hotel had a small kettle, cups and tea bags in our room to prepare tea/coffee in the room.

Lovely neighbourhood. Very close to a wonderful beach. Felt very safe at all times. I think it's a fairly upmarket part of Barcelona, but it was nevertheless not too expensive to eat at the nearby restaurants. Very few non-Spanish voices heard outside of the hotel itself - I'm surprised that it isn't a more touristy area. The residents of Barcelona do seem to come to Castelldefels on the weekend, but seemingly not many foreign tourists come. So, it's an authentic, unspoilt Spanish location.

One thing that was frustrating was that the roon didn't come with a kettle. I had brought my own teabags, and they were happy to give me hot water for free at the bar, but it would have been a lot more helpfull to just have a kettle.

This is now the 3rd time I’ve stayed at this hotel. Last time I visited was around 8 years ago. Great location 15 mins from airport and around €20 if you use the Cabify app. Beach was a short 5 minute walk- lovely clean beach with plenty of space. Lots of choices to eat around the hotel but the hotel food was equally very nice. Train station into Barcelona City is. 15 min walk and takes about 30mins. Staff were so helpful and went out of their way to help us and resolve an issue we had with the noise of other young guests next door to us. Will happily return for a 4th time and mother who accompanied me would also return!

The location is very good. Close to the airport El Prat, Close to Beach (5 min walk) and Close to train station (8 min walk) direct train to the center of Barcelona. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean. The breakfast was good variation and well made (bacon and scrambled eggs). Fresh pressed real orange juice is for me the top. The pool area were never to crowded and was nice. They were very informative and friendly at the reception. Eddie was great he gave us good tips on good restaurants. You can borrow bikes directly from the hotel. That is perfect way to see the Castell and Castelldefels. Castelldefels is a perfect combination with Barcelona which is crowded full of energy, noise and impressions. At Castelldefels all is chill, high standard on food beach and service. Visit the rooftop at hotel Belair. No wonder why half FC Barcelona lives here, Messi still has his primary house here.

The rental bikes were not in a good shape, one of the bikes only had one brake for example. The hotel is a bit out of date and could use some fix to make it a bit more fresh. The Wi-Fi weren't top, but always the same in Spain.

The room and the bathroom were kept very clean, and the staff who facilitated that were very friendly. Receptionists were all helpful too. The breakfast buffet (cheaper if pre-booked for the relevant days) was good and well stocked. The location for us was excellent, giving us only a short walk to where our friends live in the town.

Our room (106) had no coat-hooks nor drawer space except for just two very small bedside ones. As the wardrobe was only really sufficient for one person, my husband and I struggled to find a satisfactory way of unpacking our clothes. Our friend was allocated room 104 and she had a double wardrobe and more shelves in it. The early morning start-up of the heating/water systems prevented any hope of a lie-in. Oh, and the walls were a bit thin too!

We liked the location of the hotel, just a few short blocks back from the beach and away from all the traffic on the beachfront. Our room was a good size with plenty of wardrobe space, a big bathroom and room for 2 very large suitcases plus carry on bags. The private underground onsite car parking was very convenient. The swimming pool and setting was lovely and we used it extensively. A special mention to Eric & Constanza at reception who were quick to help and to suggest some great dining options.

The WiFi was very slow at times and did not work out by the pool. The air conditioner seemed to turn off for a period through the night and the room became quiet hot for for a few hours.

good clean room overlooking pool .maids in every day,free pool towels,aircon in room , quiet location but only 2 minute walk to beach and main street with restaurants. Beach at castelldefels is amazing with plenty room for all as well as lifeguards and showers and clean toilet facilities. Ton Ribu beach bar lovely to chill with drink and we went to takua bar on main road every day for breakfast and some nights for a cocktail. Lots of restaurants in town and whilst the beach is extremely busy it is so big that in the town there was always plenty room. We only saw a couple of british people the whole 8 days and you will need to attempt spanish here but it was what we expected and we had a great time so if your looking for a benidorm type resort do not go here. When the St Joan festival was on it was amazing with I swear nearly everyone (thousands) letting off fireworks all night. Main train station is 2k away and the one on the beach is 1 k away from hotel and if you dont want to walk a 10 ticket pass for 11 euros meaning a euro a journey will take you there on the bus (number 94/96/96 as well as on to other destinations via train like barcelona city. Taxi from/to airport was 35 euros coming in and 28 euros going back but public transport enables it with said ticket but as we arrived at 11pm and were going back at 9am i wanted an easy process . Biggest thing here is the heat and if you go to beach you will neeed an umbrella as it is impossible to sit all day without one, my advice would be go at 5 pm when cooler and swim in the sea and people watch when it is still really busy.

sun beds are not most comfortable and price of drinks at pool bar is ridiculous but you can bring in your own drinks if you wish with no hassle.
