Everything! We were very pleasantly surprised. For a ‘budget’ price - for the area - the hotel was excellent. I was slightly put off initially by the photo of the location, thinking it would be noisy, etc. It really wasn’t and I would urge anyone thinking the same not to worry. The elevator up to the hotel made access with bicycles easy. The room was clean and spacious - we had two bicycles with us and still lots of space to move around. There are tea making facilities in the kitchenette area along the hall - not usually found in cheaper hotels. The free croissants in the morning were a nice touch, too. I would absolutely not hesitate to book here again at Buchs or try the place at Wil. I’m hoping they expand into Europe!!

Great location and the parking in the basement is free (you need to take a ticket and there's a machine in the hotel for validating it). There's a supermarket right across the street and lots of cafes and restaurants including McDonald's in the immediate neighborhood. The train/bus station is also within walkable distance. The customer service over phone was also quite helpful. There's a nice room with a coffee machine and croissants and fruits were kept there in every morning. While Coffee, croissants and fruits are free, there is a fridge named 'honesty bar' with chilled drinks which you have to pay for by leaving money (CHF) in a box. This is the one thing that can be improved by making it a vending machine which also accepts cards.

I had some initial trouble with checking in. I arrived at 1 am and the machine outside said my room is not ready yet because it is being cleaned. I knew nobody was cleaning the room at 1 am, so I called support and they sorted it out. After this, I couldn't get my room door to open. After changing my room twice and still not able to open the door to the room, they changed my room to a different floor and that solved the problem. All of this took nearly 45 minutes. Once this was sorted out, the rest of my stay was smooth. Just on a side note - I had a twin room, and the beds felt a bit too narrow. If you are by yourself, a double room might be a better idea.

Didn’t know it was kind of in a mall, but super easy check in: I was in in about a minute. Great, large room with very comfortable beds and a good desk. Very clean, very well stocked. And beautiful bathroom. The coffee bar is a sweet touch, and there’s a shared fridge that was super useful. I met and chatted with some other guests and loved the environment and mood. Also the location close to the train station meant I could get up and go for a hike in Liechtenstein without any stress. Generally I think this might be the best value for money I’ve found in Switzerland.

For about five hours I swore never ever to come back and I feel bad for the owner/operator of the flextmotel because it’s not their fault, but my God it’s next to the single loudest bar in Switzerland and from about 18:00 to about 23:00 on Saturday my room was just banging reverb. Luckily, it’s Switzerland, so even the loudest bar open until 1:00 AM shut it down and I got a good nights sleep and decided I would in fact come back. Plus if you get a room on the other side of the hotel, I imagine you’re golden.

Free hot drinks were a lovely thing to have. Beds were incredibly comfy. Room was very large and bright. The bathroom was very clean and again, large. Also enjoyed a croissant in the morning!

Be warned that the self check in was quite problematic when used on the English language setting. We were close to calling the hotel for assistance, but then reattempted to check in on the default German setting, and all worked fine. Similarly, the WiFi password was different (and didn't work) on the English setting. Was very bizarre.

This is a large self-check-in hotel located right on the main street of Buchs, surrounded by grocery stores and cafés—very convenient! The rooms are spacious and quite cozy. There’s also a self-service kitchen with a guest fridge, free coffee and tea, and even complimentary fruits and croissants in the morning.

When I arrived, there was an issue with the self check-in system—both I and another guest couldn’t check in. However, we called the hotel manager, and they were able to check us in remotely.

A lovely, modern locations, clearly renovated as everything was clean and fresh. Beautiful, comfortable rooms with probably the best mattress I ever encountered in a hotel room. Free croissants, fresh fruits as well as tea and coffee are made available in the kitchen each morning, so the ideal start for the day :)

It takes a bit getting used to to check in to a fully contactless hotel room, but with the instructions clearly visible at the entrance, check-in still went smoothly.

Too bad there was no option to have breakfast, but there is no room for that, but we did enjoy free coffee and hot chocolate in break room during our stay We forgot when we book the room, there will be two separate beds, since we are married couple, we prefer one big bed, but we have managed, even though the beds were little bit springy, since the bed had springs in them 2 people bedroom, but only one chair with average desk Motel is situated in small shopping centre, but we stayed here during weekend, so it was very quiet and shops were closed during our stay

Everything was perfect. This was the first hotel that had a huge room and shower. We both loved it. They have a room where you can get cappuccino and croissant. As well as cooler for the water. Coffee machine run out of the water and there was this Albanian cleaning lady I forgot her name, but she stopped what she was doing and took care of me. Which I though was super nice.

Parking. I paid for parking unnecessarily apparently. I was told that parking will be free. I did contact the property but didn't hear from them until I was gone. So, for future customers on your way in take the ticket but don't pay it. Just go to the gate and it will open. I spent 18CHF

I am a little disappointed in jow little there were to seen in Liechtenstein, which is no fault of the hotel. But for interrailing to, and from, Liechtenstein, The hotel is located really great, super close to Buchs station which has easy connections to Zurich, and Schaan in Liechtsnstein. I really liked the automated check-in, however I get that it can be intimidating for some, and there were a number right on the box to call, if that is the case.

There weren't a lot to see in Liechtenstein or Buchs itself, so I did not know what to do with most of my time there.

Excellent way of organizing things for the satisfaction of customers and they deserve 10/10.

They don’t have luggage storing facility for customers who reach before the check in time. But it didn’t disappointed us as they tried their level best to help us and let us checked in early.
