The staff of Dukes retreat are an asset to the hotel. Special mention for Chef Dinesh, Waiters at the restaurant Nitai, Vicky, and others whose names are not known. Housekeeping staff Sapna really did a great job with keeping the room clean and neat. Devarshree at the front office looked after our special requests. All in all our experience was very relaxing.

Would look forward to the retreat having their Spa and other sports facilities put up quickly. Also the hotel could have an option for a more firm mattress for people with back pain.

Location was good, property was nice and well maintained. Food was excellent , will visit again for the food. Swimming pool was small- 4 feet only but was refreshing to spend an hour in it Sit out was big and had privacy. Peaceful gateway for a weekend

The breakfast spread was amazing and need to mention that we enjoyed it thoroughly. The dinner buffet was okay and expensive.

The room amenities need to be upgraded. Also, the elevator did not go to the 1st floor (ground floor). This was very inconvenient and very unlike a good hotel. There was no information provided for the same. We went down to the ground floor in the lift and the doors did not open. We were a little shaken up but then pressed the 2nd floor and we went up. Had to take stairs to go down to the ground / first floor. When we informed the staff, they were very casual about it, as if we are supposed to know it upfront without any information provided.

Everything was great! Staff was fantastic. View was exceptional. Many activities were available like pottery, caricature and horse riding that were interesting and unique without additional charges.

Nothing specific. If I had to pick one- Spa people were not keen on sharing information.

The rooms are modern and comfortable. The food is very pricey but good. The staff is excellent. Checkout process was a bit cumbersome but overall the stay was better than good.

Breakfast options arent that great and the menu was repeated every day

Excellent Location to stay in Khandala particularly in monsoon season.

At breakfast we chose one table and kept our belongings. Waitress came and asked to shift to another table and later kept "Reservation board" on it. I denied to shift and raised it to manager. He allowed us. It was quite rude. I have never seen any 'reservation' for breakfast table in any of the hotels. Could not understand the purpose.

The rooms and the quality of the food

The breakfast buffet and dinner buffet was mismanaged as they did not enough seating for the number of guests and they struggled to get everyone seated in the restaurant

The excellent resort location. The reception floor location and utilities. The nice bathroom

- small & Bad TV and good channels missing. - Few Rusty mettalic facilities at reception floor area. - Insufficient lighting in common passage at entrance of rooms

The location, the hotel set up, room view, food

The high tea could have made better with more snacks options, also coffe vending machine would be a better option, Breakfast and buffet cost seemed on a higher side by 10% to 20%.

The food and beverages should be reasonably priced for residents to order and eat and drink. It's too expensive.
