I enjoyed the explanations of the rich history behind the building. The AC was much appreciated in the summer heat and surprisingly modern given the age of the building. I like having shared spaces for recreation and cooking which was on offer in the building. Downtown Camas is extremely well designed and gives off a very comfortable atmosphere for pedestrians.

There was a distinct smell to the building, especially the room we stayed in. The walls are extremely thin and sound travels very easily.

Super cute historical hotel that has been renovated with modern touches. Comfortable rooms with historical feel. Friendly staff and a really good breakfast included with the room at the nearby cafe. Great location in downtown Camas , close to shops and restaurants.

No elevator, so heavy luggage up the stairs can be challenging. While the room was comfortable and cozy, it was small. There may be other rooms that offer more space, but ours was pretty tight (no space for stretching on the floor).

Check-in was easy and welcoming. The Atrium was a delightful place to spread out and work on the computer. The WiFi was fast and reliable. The shared bath facilities were clean and spacious. The central location was ideal, close to bus line, groceries, small specialty shops, and a variety of restaurants, coffee shops, and pubs. The nearby Lacamas Park, 2 miles from the hotel, offered lakeside trails, with varying difficulty levels from accessible to challenging.

We enjoyed almost everything, but visitors should know that this is a 115-year-old hotel with tiny rooms, steep, narrow stairs, and no elevator. We enjoyed the ambiance and old-world feel, but we did notice some other guests had a bit of difficulty with the stairs. The third floor, with shared bath facilities, required some accommodation to scheduling visits to the facilities. We didn't have issues with that, but there were "waiting lines" at peak times...

Amazing location. Nice accommodations. Rooms are small. It reminded me of staying in some pensions in Europe.

I expected daily housekeeping. One day they switched out towels and took trash but didn’t make the bed. No service the next day. Perhaps I was in the room but I wasn’t there all day. Several of the front desk people were close to rude. At very least unwelcoming. Only one very small bathroom trash can that didn’t hold much more than an empty paper cup.

Being our first time staying there, it was nice. You could walk everywhere you needed to go, whether it was shopping or getting something to eat. It's a cute little town. I liked that on the floor we were staying on. There was a little bistro that I could hang out in when my husband was taking a nap. Even though there were a few things that I would like to have changed. We would definitely come back and stay. I posted lots of pictures of our weekend stay on my FB page.

What I didn't care for was that our room window faced a wall and ally. I had asked for a private bathroom, but the sink was in the bedroom that I didn't care so much for. Next time I will ask for a room with a private bathroom and that faces the street.

Lovely little room in a gorgeous historic building! Booked this room last-minute when the electricity at home went out due to a downed tree. Despite the conditions, the Camas Boutique Hotel was cozy and relaxing, pillows and bed were very soft and welcoming. Heater was on when we checked in, and we were warm and comfortable all night. Can't wait to come back when everything isn't encased in ice!

At one point there was a little bit of noise spill-over from the room next door, but it did not negatively impact our stay - built in 1907, TV noise isolation wasn't a thing yet :)

We had to reserve this room for the extra family that was in town visiting. Honestly, I was almost tempted to swap and let them stay at my place and I would stay at the hotel. The only thing that kept me from it was that my knees and back are shot - so the fairly steep stairs and the room being on the 3rd floor - I would not risk it personally. If it was the 2nd floor.... I would have kicked out my nephew. He was hesitant about the shared bathroom - but he said it was perfect especially since he had a sink to get ready in his room. Everything was so neat and well-designed. He said that the bed was fantastic. I personally loved the front staff who was extremely helpful and friendly. I will absolutely be sending family and friends to stay and I will absolutely be arranging for a little getaway with the room with the deep tub bathroom!! :) Oh and the breakfast add-on and location CANNOT BE BEAT!!!

Nothing - everything was great!

We love the historic feel of the Camas Hotel. It’s also right in town making it easy to look into Los of shops and restaurants. The breakfast that came with our room was nice down at Natalia’s restaurant. It was our second time staying at this hotel. We’ve now had a room with and without its own bathroom. Both are great. Highly recommend.

Can’t think of any negatives.

the quaintness of the place, perfect location in town, friendly, room amenities. Also nice to have the atrium on second floor to sit together in.

I could not sleep past 330 am much as they turn the A/C off at night and there is no ceiling fan, so I was very hot. I did not open the window as I did not want the street noise. You do have to carry your luggage up to 2 or 3 rd floors, because no elevator. The parking lot is gone, but you can find parking on the street.

This was my second stay at the Camas Boutique Hotel. For anyone familiar with a renovated vintage Hotel property, or have traveled to properties in Europe, you will be familiar with the concept and pleasure associated with the Camas Boutique Hotel. We stayed on the third floor and enjoyed our room. A tiny bit small, but functional. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The in-wall air conditioner worked well and was quiet. The room had newer furnishings and modern conveniences, such as a TV, mini refrigerator and Keurig single pod coffee maker. The shared floor bathrooms (two on our floor) were clean and always available. The town of Camas quiets down quickly at night and is far from the freeway. Talk about a good night sleep!

If I’m forced to find fault, whoever put the toilet paper on the holders put it on so it unrolls from the back. The original patent for toilet paper shows it is supposed to unroll from the front of the roll. There was only a single chair for sitting in the room.
