Set within a beautiful town square, this was a charming, historic hotel with modern conveniences. Our room was large, clean and comfortable with a modern ensuite. Staff were most helpful and there were plenty of dining options within the hotel itself and the many restaurants around the square.

As international tourists, we had very large suitcases and, given the age of the hotel, there was no lift. However staff were most helpful in storing our luggage downstairs, so this solved the problem. Just something to be aware of!

The young woman at reception was very kind and even carried my heavy luggage up the stairs. The building itself was very old and does not have an elevator. The room was very comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was great. I definitely recommend this hotel. In the reception area they even had a vending machine for cold beer. The location is great, though I would definitely take a taxi from the train station if you have luggage.

The hotel has an ideal location almost in the city center. All attractions, as well as restaurants are just in 7-10 minutes walk. Despite this it is very quiet and peacefu place l. The hotel has considerable charm and gives the impression of a business in which they put their heart and soul. The interior of the common areas is nice and traditional and fully corresponds to the image of the city. The rooms are equipped in a modern and comfortable manner. Due to the DB strike, we did not know when we would be able to leave, so they first gave us the opportunity to check out late, and then extended our room for another day. A small problem with the shower was also resolved very quickly

Mattresses could be better. As for me (tall and slim) bed was not so good. All in all it was the only uncomfortable thing

Perfect location at the cathedral and the old town hall. Short walk to shops and restaurants. A short walk to the railway station. Personnel very accommodating and helpful, helped me with booking a taxi for a business meeting in a town approx.. 20 km away (and where to get a cold beer that day, as Monday is "ruhetag" at the hotel). Room was large and spacious, overlooking the market square (be prepared to be woken early by the church bells). Sleep quality is excellent. There is ample room for doing some work there, and plenty of power outlets.

Located in a nice part of the town, by the town hall and St. Michael church. Pleasant check-in and check-out process. The hotel is an old but nicely furnished/decorated building. There are small reading areas in the corridors and around the staircase. Good lighting inside the room, desk space for working, and good bathroom with good water pressure for the shower. Breakfast buffet was nice with a selection of breads, spreads, hams, eggs, fruits, and yoghurt.

Pillows seemed a bit deflated and a bit awkward to sleep on.

A gorgeous hotel. The rooms are beautiful and it's been renovated at some point recently. It has a great old feel to it in the main areas, but the rooms are updated. They were very helpful with parking. It's a great location to see the town as it's right off the Marktplatz. We were lucky to be there on Friday night as the farmer's market happens right outside on Saturday morning.

very creaky floors in the rooms, but interestingly you didn't hear any one else's floors ! Nice and quiet hotel. Sadly the view into the square was blocked by some (I guess temporary) scaffolding works.

Love the people and its position next to St Michael s Kirche. So a beautiful building. Our room overlooking the Christmas market was wonderful as due to disability I am not always able to stay out and struggle with stairs.

I always struggle with the beautiful staircases. Unfortunately you can’t change history and architecture of such a beautiful building. I really wouldn’t want to. I will come for as long as I can cope. Truthfully, it really isn’t suitable for wheelchair disabilities. Just doable with a stick. Still love it so much.

Super nice building, nice staff, very cute room. Price was also very good. At first, I couldn't believe this was our hotel, because the location was so good and the hotel looked so amazing. It's a nice old building, and our room was great. It really gave us this old castle feeling. Parking was very near, but still in the center of the city, which is rare. Schwäbisch Hall is also a great place.

Maybe an extra door in the shower, so the bathroom floor wouldn't get wet. Also, the beds made some noise, but it didn't really bother me

Well-located in the city heart with free parking right in front of the hotel. Breakfast is pretty good and the super friendly staff rounds up a very good experience. Fun fact: The water pressure in the showers could cut metal. Be careful!

You better prepare for a 6:30 wake-up call by the church bells right next to the hotel. The bed is a bit too hard for my taste (felt like the tough asian matresses).
