This is a beautiful property with super friendly staff in a great location. They really went out of their way to make the stay comfortable. They provided anything we could have needed. The beds were comfortable. The grounds are amazing, with gardens and fruit trees all around. The breakfast was delicious with fresh cooked eggs, homemade cakes and jams. I would 100% recommend staying here.

The room only had a space heater and was cold, but they made sure we were comfortable with a thick duvet and extra blankets, so it wasn’t a problem at all.

The breakfast was excellent. Very good coffee, cut up fruit that has a great variety of fruits in it, boiled farm eggs, a bread basket, some meat and cheese slices, and cake! They also had mugs so you could bring coffee to your room before breakfast. The garden was a beautiful private oasis in a location very convenient for walking around the city. The bed was comfortable, the wifi worked well, and the owners and staff were welcoming and delightful. When checking in, they brought us to a table in the garden with a complementary beverage to complete the check-in process. The shower was very nice. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Valparaiso.

Wonderful staff. Breakfast included a combination of items (not a buffet, but quite adequate). The grounds were amazing; large garden area with a vast array of trees and plants. 10 varieties of passion fruit. The location is within walking distance of many attractions. However, this area of Valparaiso is very hilly. This property (like most others in the area) is well up a hill. So it offers nice views from the property, but walking elsewhere requires extra effort. But, if you want to stay in this part of Valparaiso, this hotel is a great choice.

Located past the end of a narrow one-way street (difficult for taxi drivers). Short walk from there to property. Booking error: Somehow, the two of us ended up in a queen room that says it sleeps one (it wasn't much larger than the bed). I don't know how this happened, but I now see the confirmation says "sleeps 1". May have been my error, or maybe Booking.com process. Nevertheless, I highly recommend this property. I would happily stay here again.

This little hotel is perfectly perched between atop the stairs leading up from Esmeralda Avenue. Easily accessible and centrally located. Staying here was a true pleasure as I was welcomed by friendly staff and the owner who all went above and beyond to make my stay pleasurable and seamless. Clean and interestingly decorated to showcase the dedication to preserving the nature, this is a place from which you can enjoy the art of Valparaiso, or simply relax in the garden with a good book and a drink. Want to do some exploring? Just ask for some tips and hints! And the breakfast - good coffee, homemade jams, warm bread, fruit - a guarantee of a good day to follow! Highly recommended!

At times noisy due to the location, but nothing excessive.

A very special kind of place. Owners and staff made us very welcome in their 'home'. Gardens were an excellent feature to relax after a weary day of sightseeing. Furnishings and decor showed that a lot of love had gone into creating them. The freasly prepared Breakfast was continental in style and perfect for us. .

For us with a 2 night transit stay it wasn't a problem but in our sea ( harbour) view there wasn't a wardrobe. Again didn't concern us but for out of towners I wouldn't recommend using a car!

the property itself is beautiful, with so much care and love into every little detail. the beautiful decor is comfortable, stylish and whimsical. the owners were so lovely, friendly and accommodating - same with all the staff. a shout out to Catalina for making me feel so welcomed when I arrived after my 11 hour flight. the bed was super comfortable and most nights it was VERY quiet. lastly, the location couldn’t be better, it was easy to get to all the tourist attractions and restaurants. I was travelling alone and felt very safe.

it’s hard to think of anything. Saturday night was a little loud due to nearby music, at no fault of the hotel. they provide earplugs which is nice. I played white noise from my phone which covered the noise.

This boutique hotel with only 11 rooms is a hidden gem with modern conveniences surrounded by a beautiful garden within easy walking to some great restaurants. Anne the proprietor is a very interesting woman and an exceptional host. The staff was able to find us a competent driver with a Mercedes van to take 6 people and 7 big bags to San Antonio for a good price. No surcharges. We walked up and down the hill to Plaza Sotomayor but since this property is tucked below a dead end street, it can be tricky to navigate for people with bad hips or knees. That said, the handicapped room is well designed. Good breakfast, good wine. Love this place!

No parking if you have a rental car BUT we found UBER to be a much better alternative anyway.

Staying at AYCA is an ‘experience’ that is difficult to describe. You really feel comfortable and well taken care of. The thought and care taken in details of the rooms and common space are impressive. The place is a piece of art! Its particular location makes it an oasis in a typical, crowded hillside in colorful Valparaiso - plenty of great restaurants, art, and shops within walking distance.

A minor problem was that you need to plan your shower (at least in some of the rooms) since it takes about 15 minutes+ for hot water to come through. But once you know that, you just let water run and wait. No big deal.

Our stay here was exceptional. Everything the hotel hosts did made us feel welcomed. The breakfast was amazing -- with cake prepared on site, different each of the three days we stayed. They also bake fresh bread in the morning while the jam is prepared by fruits that grow on site. The always available water and tea was appreciated. The hotel's decor is very intentional, with a lovely outdoor garden and patio with views out to the sea. Anne and the whole staff were so friendly and kind -- would definitely stay again.

Ana and Andrés made our before, during and after our stay AMAZING! Ana and her husband were very kind and Andres and all 3 went out of their way to accommodate us and any questions we had. Breakfast was great. Ana is quite the baker, her cakes were spectacular. La Flora’s location is great and close by to different restaurants!!! Our only regret is that we only stayed 1 night!
