Standard room, I loved that the mini fridge was a little larger than usually and had a separate freezer compartment. The lady at check out on Saturday morning was very friendly. She asked if we were there for the BGSU Preview Day (which we were) and gave us some water bottles to take along. The location is super convenient to the university, we could have even walked there and just left the car in the parking lot.

- small breakfast area: Everyone must have decided to get breakfast at 7 am when it first opened on Saturday and it was very crowded. The choices of breakfast foods were excellent for a free included breakfast, but there was not enough room a) to sit and b) to even get the food as there were some tables in the middle of the breakfast buffet section which made it even more crowded. - The work out room is small with just one treadmill.

In the last two weeks we stayed at several hotels on our travels from Canada to Orlando Florida (Disney World). This hotel was the best of all the places. The employees were friendly, efficient and very helpful. The room we stayed in was very clean with all facilities working properly. The fridge, the microwave and the coffee maker were in good working condition. The included breakfast was very good and exceeded all others. Everything in the hotel was clean and in good working order.

We can't think of any negatives for this place. It exceeded our expectations.

Very convenient to the places and people I was visiting. Good value Good breakfast 2 girls that I interacted with that took care of the breakfast were very pleasant. Front desk staff were also pleasant and friendly.

Stayed there last year and they offered yogurt at the breakfast and hard boiled eggs. Disappointed they didn't have that this year.

Super close to BGSU campus. Best hotel breakfast I’ve had since before covid - waffle maker was working - red skinned seasoned potatoes - yum!!! I felt like the front desk staff went out of their way talking to me giving me tidbits about the area. Wish I remembered their names but they were working July 27 at 330 when we checked in!

Little dated decor

The young men working at the front desk were so friendly. We were touring Bowling Green University the next day and they were both students. They happily shared their experiences and spent a great deal of time telling us what they loved about their school and what they thought could have been improved. The location was also perfect for our stay as our was directly across from the hub of campus.

Breakfast was good and location was excellent as we have a student attending BGSU. The air conditioner struggled to keep the room cool and was running almost constantly. Beds were comfortable. TV was really good with lots of channels.

The hotel did seem to be a little dated even though it had a recent upgrade. Air conditioner system did not work well.

Staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. Room and hotel were very clean. With a child attending BGSU I've stayed at pretty much all of the hotels in Bowling Green. This was by far the best.

There is no elevator at this hotel so if you have an issue with stairs just request a first floor room upon making a reservation. Not an issue for me but could be for some others.

We completely enjoyed our stay. Everything about the stay was very clean and quiet, completely comfortable, welcoming, and the breakfast options were marvelous! The location is in an ideal spot, right across the street from the BGSU campus, so within walking distance of anything on campus. We plan to return.

Had an outside room this time, which I didn’t know what difference was @ time, we had an inside room last time and I wasn’t aware of outside rooms, prefer inside.. didn’t wanna complain but now I know what to ask for

The service at Best Western was superb - we were coming in from a long drive, and ordered pizza. They offered us plates and a wine opener at the front desk, and were so very accommodating and friendly.

We do not have any negative comments for this property. Everything was great, and better than expected. We were traveling through from Ohio to Indiana after coming from Illinois and wanted an inexpensive but good hotel, and we got more than we expected.
