We only needed to stay here one night on a road trip to Chicago. It was late, so we chose this because we barely had to leave the thruway to get to it. It is the definition of 'you get what you pay for' but that was totally fine for our quick stop. We arrived around 10 and they tried to accommodate a slightly larger room for us and our three kids, but what we ended up in was fine.

The lobby seemed new but the rooms are dated and need some improvements. The surface of the tub was chipping and the furniture has seen better days. Beds were okay. But, for the most part everything felt clean and as I said, for $95/night this was a great option at that price point. Breakfast was limited but available.

The room was clean and comfortable, and it was relatively quiet. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was sufficient. The pool hours are awesome. The location is close to lots of good places to eat and shop. Let's not forget all those delicious cookies they bake daily for guests to enjoy!

The only thing that bugged me was the fly that was our roommate for the 5 days there. I couldn't get it to leave the room!

My girls at the desk are the best. I’ve been coming often so they have learned my name. They give you no hassle about asking for extra toiletries or blankets. Never have a attitude. They always make me feel welcome. Oh and the cookies are amazing!!!! I also like the convient parking with door access. Some hotels make it so your key stops at a certain hour of the night so you can only get in the main door, not here if your a guest you can park by any door. Very convienent. The rooms were clean, and the front desk people were great. The location of the hotel made it easy to find. The water pressure in the shower was okay.

The pool was supposed to be "heated," but my 3 year old wouldn't even get in it cause it was too cold. When booking, it doesn't say anything about the $25 damage deposit. The beds were uncomfortable. My mom got stuck in the bed due to her having a messed up back. The pool and hot tub looked slimy. Don't get me started on all the stink bugs that we had to kill

Our room and the property was clean. The lady that handles the breakfast was on top of everything, she did an excellent job and was very friendly. The entire staff I encountered was extremely friendly.

The pool and hot tub was a little dirty and very busy, but that’s what happens when you have lots of people using them, and it was crowded, too crowded for us, we only used it for about 30 minutes. There were several small kid birthday parties or something I am guessing, but we had a good time anyway.

To answer your question about the free breakfast, I choose to sleep in a little and then take my 2 grandkids down to the pool so didn’t make it to breakfast on time. They definitely wanted swimming over breakfast!

This didn’t bother or affect me, but in our—very nice—room, 223, your tub had a small but steady drizzle of water that might be costing the hotel money, so you might want to have that looked at. It was a very nice bathroom, though!

The room was large enough for my family. The pool and hot tub was wonderful. The breakfast was large enough and offered all kinds of treats. Coffee all day. The staff was great always treating us like family. Always going above their job to make us feel welcomed.

After driving 10 hours and wanting to enjoy our vacation. The locals having childrens birthday parties and running screaming squealing drunk people. Their is no walking and talking its run and scream. The locals are trashing this hotel. If the owners actually cared about their hotel they wouldnt rent to locals. The locals ruined our trip from the way they acted in a civilaized hotel. And the staff tried to contain it but the locals didnt care saying "if we get kicked out i can go home" to us out of towners. The locals ruined our family get away trip from the way they treated us!

The staff is exceptional, very friendly and all about seeing that your needs are met 😊. Breakfast is good. We love the pool area because my daughter can swim and I can watch her from the hot tub, Bonus!

I stay there often and sometimes the rooms are not as clean as I feel they should be. They are not bad enough to keep us from staying here. They don't have bugs and that's my main concern 😊

I was a bit skeptical when I arrived because the front area was a little less well tended than other properties. However, once inside I found everything to be very well maintained, especially the breakfast area, where each table was carefully cleaned after every diner departed. Bedding was excellent, as was the shower pressure and bathroom lighting.

The room was great. It was very clean, and the bedding was super soft! We enjoyed having a jacuzzi in our bedroom. This is one of the only hotels in the area that has rooms that have an in-room jacuzzi. There are a lot of great restaurants that are not too expensive within 10-15 minutes of the hotel. We like coming here for a kid-free evening because of this! This hotel is perfect for a 'staycation'!

The eggs in the breakfast area did not taste very good. They tasted like there was way too much milk in them. All in all, though, we really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely come back the next time we can find someone to babysit our children overnight.
