Pet friendly, good assortment for breakfast. Pool table in the lobby was a nice feature. They told us we could swim at the hotel next door if we wanted to as well. Bed’s were comfortable and the hotel appeared clean.

Employees seemed to be smoking pot, which I understand is legal in Ohio but did make the hotel smell from time to time. It wasn’t terrible like some other hotels, I just can’t stand the smell of it. Rooms didn’t smell just the lobby by some of the employees and the hall way.

This was the first time using this chain and due to the price we were unsure of what to expect but we loved our stay and will be staying in this chain more often. We've stayed in a lot of chains over the US for work and this one has better equip gyms, a few social activities like a pool table, t.v, games and even shuffle board so you didn't feel trapped in your room. The rooms weren't too big or too small and were clean. This is also the best budget hotel breakfast that we've had, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Just what we needed whilst being at work.

Nothing, everything was perfect

Loved how clean everything felt. Having no carpeting helps. Also loved how spacious the room was though it was 102, the smallest size. Everything was efficient, well-thought-out, and fun. Soap products and coffee were great. I will definitely look for Tru hotels in the future.

Bathroom needed an exhaust fan. The ceiling was high but a fan was still needed for all the humidity from the shower..

We didn't make it down for breakfast. The room was a very good size, and the bed was comfortable. The young ladies at the desk were very nice. They have a good staff. The TRU Hotel is a really nice place to stay at.

They should try to bring in Coffee makers for the rooms. The WATER PRESSURE IS WAY TO WEAK FOR THE WOMEN TO WASH THEIR HAIR AND GET THE SHAMPOO & CONDITIONER OUT, THAT IS HARD WITH VERY WEAK WATER PRESSURE. PILLOWS SHOULD BE A LITTLE FIRMER. The review I have written is both good and not, but TRU Hotel is a good place just like all hotels the water pressure is very, weak & so this isn't the only place. Just know that! I know other people feel the same!

The property was very clean. We loved the beds and the shower.

The morning staff were extremely rude. There was a gentleman that didn't speak English trying to purchase something and I felt the whole interaction was disrespectful on the front desk persons part. She looked at him and said "Who are you??" And then kept repeating herself louder, as if that will help with a language barrier.

We were very impressed with the customer care. The rooms are small but very clean and comfortable for a good night's rest. I was impressed with the room design as well as two other details we noticed while walking in the hallway...they had an "exit" sign lower to the floor in case of emergency and also a button to push for those with disabilities (deaf) instead of knocking. Thinking of others is always wonderful. Way to go Tru. The place is very inviting.

Feels bad to "complain" but better water pressure for an amazing shower. And a better seating area for breakfast. It's cute but doesn't accommodate enough guests in the morning.

Good breakfast. Needed an early start on Saturday, however breakfast was not quite ready at 7am.

Initial reception was a bit uncomfortable. Staffer was unable to find reservation in system (I used booking.com to make reservation). Ended up having to contact booking.com to get matter sorted out. Perhaps part of issue was timing. Apparently I was checking in around the time of a shift change. The staffer at the end of shift did not seem particularly helpful. The folks on the next shift seemed more eager to get the issue resolved.

Very clean throughout the hotel from reception to the lobby including our room. Staff is wonderful. After traveling it’s nice to be greeted with a smile

Our last two stays the breakfast was disappointing. During our most recent visit there was no orange juice and the apple juice tasted watered down. The cereal was stale.

Welcoming, friendly, clean, cute. Breakfast included. Perfect for our one night stop. Our first Tru but would definitely do it again. Had lemon and sugar scented soap in bathrooms which I loved, nice area in lobby for hanging out with pool table, tv, laptop niches, and other little seating areas and games.

Breakfast was nice! Healthy hot food and quick cold options as well. The room was pretty clean. Very spacious! Plenty of towels, which is a big plus. I have been to other places and I always have to go to the front for an extra set of towels (why 3 when the room can fit four). I was very happy that I did not have to do that at this hotel!!!!

There was a stain in the shower...maybe rust, it was going down the grab bar and wall all the way to the floor
