This hotel was such a wonderful surprise and discovery - a tastefully converted monastery tucked away just outside Bergamot overlooking the hills and two churches beyond. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was one of the best I have seen in a boutique hotel. A healthy choice, beautifully presented and including local products which were listed on a menu.

We were disappointed that we were not able to eat at the restaurant that evening. We should have booked but had no idea that there was a restaurant and that it was so potentially good. It would have been great if we had been asked when we checked in if we would like to book a table. It was clearly popular with the locals. So do book ahead if staying there!

The staff was incredible, super welcoming, helpful and friendly. The property is magnificent. The pictures on booking.com don’t represent the beauty enough. The hotel is underselling themselves in my opinion. It was truly amazing staying there.

Nothing to dislike. The hotel could befit from installing a small bar or aperitivo. They offered it verbally but would be nice to be able to order a drink somewhere throughout the day.

The hotel was exactly as pictured. Previously an old monastery, they have done a fantastic job updating and keeping a bit of the charm from the past the grounds were well kept, and they had many diffusers around the hotel that had a pleasant inviting aroma. The staff was very friendly and helpful and it seemed like the restaurantwas filled with guest from the local town. They had pleasant music playing in the morning during breakfast as you sipped your cappuccino and ate your croissant out on the patio.

That we didn’t book our next two nights here and ended up at a terrible place instead!!!

The buildings history, the location on a hill, easy walking access to Old Town and many very good restaurants, breakfast was solid with breads, meats, cheeses, fruits, cereals, tarts, etc. Staff were extremely friendly but not overbearing on any way. The bed was very supportive and comfortable

I think the hotel is exactly what it wants to be....it is a great place to base any exploration into the region or to stay at for business. If I had to find one wish, I would have liked eggs and sausage or bacon offered at breakfast, even if at an additional cost.

The design and the aesthetic of the hotel was great. The staff was very friendly and polite. The breakfast was of good quality. The location was very nice and the view from the hotel was great.

The rooms are too small. The food in the restaurant was good but the portions too small. Value for Money for the restaurant is low.

Clean and modern property, very beautiful and spectacular views in a quiet part of town. The staff was extremely nice and friendly, which is always appreciated.

We were assigned a nice sized room/small apartment, which was obviously not complete with renovation works. For 2 nights it was tolerated, however the WiFi service was extremely poor and cell phone service (pretty much none) was not available from the location of the room. The unit was void of a refrigerator and the door to the toilet did not close propertly in addition to the door´s handle not being properly attached. The room should not have been assigned without some form of compensation, however we made the best of it since the staff was very kind. We would return again after they have had time to sorted out various issues

The building is so gorgeous, looks like a museum for outside but yet modern inside. The staff were very friendly, the breakfast area is very cozy and the food choices were few but enough. There is another restaurant for dinner on the second floor called Nasturzio has a beautiful view of the mountain. The food was very delicious and the ambiance is so good.

Personal is very friendly. When we pass the reception, the lady gave us bottles with cold water when we went out. Also the same when we were leaving, it was very kind. The breakfast was with a great quality, especially pastry, the croissants were delightful (best I had in Italy that week), good variety of ham, etc.

The change of the air in the room was not good. When the windows were open, the aircon did not work (which is right) but there was no easy way to move the air out from the room. Maybe a fan would help, to have window open during the night?

Needs a little boost on guest experience- expect bottled water and more than one tea bag in the room, and check electrical appliances work safely. More information on ‘what to do’ eg maps of walks, the cable car to Selvino etc bike hire?

Great location, mountain and valley view, historic building with modern renovation. Bathroom with a balcony and view. Very good bed, breakfast and service. Trails along the river walking distance.

The hotel is perfect – but somebody could tell the neighbor not to start trimming their lawn at 8am ;-)
