Staff very friendly throughout the stay and the many questions I had. Offered a drink on the house upon arrival -- small gesture, very much appreciated. Coffee: beans! Room: simply beautiful. Also brilliant: you can open the windows. It was a joy, pure and simple.

It would be great to have some signs up on the back (or even side) of the hotel as well - only when you arrive by car, at the front of the hotel, it's immediately clear you've reached your location. Small adjustment, huge help. Add what exit to take at the station and it's a 10++!

The bed was very comfortable. The rain shower is very nice. Very big tv screen, maybe for me not so necessary but it was a fun extra. Being able to make your own coffee and tea, with nice herbal tea bags. The lighting options were nice as well, as well as the mirrors with lighting.

The hotel didn't seem completely finished yet. The elevator still looked a bit like a construction site and in the courtyard the stones seem loose under your feet. Because of the photos I wasn't sure whether my room had a sauna, but I was hoping that otherwise there might still be one in the hotel. Would have been nice if the gym was ready, and if a sauna will be installed there.

The breakfast was great , there was a great variety of food and very delicious . the area is great for walking around , the town of Meppel is very nice and cozy with a lot of history and heritage . I would recommend this place to anybody .

I dont know of anything that could be greatly improved . The restaurant was only open for Breakfast the first few days of our stay , so maybe having the restaurant open more would be an improvement. an outside sitting area would be great.

The hotel is cosy and very conveniently located, the city centre with many restaurants is very close by. The large free car park is a plus for the hotel. Loved the restaurant, clean and nice, breakfast was delicious. The room was as described and expected, everything was nice and comfortable. Thank you to the polite and pleasant staff.

There was no minibar in the room. I wish there was one in a hotel of this level.

Very nice room with a modern lively bathroom and a very comfortable bed. Very nice breakfast with plenty of choice. The staff where friendly and very pleasant.

The evening restaurant menu was average at best, the choice of food was limited and not good value. Some of the food products I would say where frozen from a box and of poor quality.

The staff at the breakfast was a bit slow, it took ages to replenish milk, scrambled eggs, fruit, bread etc and some things like pancakes disappeared like an hour before the breakfast end time.

We booked the family room which is spacious and one double bed and one two-person sofa bed. Bathroom is also very spacious. Extra pay for the breakky is also good.

We got off the train station but it took us 15 mins to get there with several check-in size luggages and one young kid. The location is more suitable for people who have cars maybe.

Our family of 3 had a great stay in MyHotel Meppel. Room was clean, almost brand new, with all the appliances you may need.

It’s not that I didn’t like, but organization of breakfast was somewhat disappointing. Refill of empty plates took time, actually we didn’t know whether it’s going to happen or not.

We appreciate your warm welcome, assistance, and attentiveness. The accommodations were exceptionally maintained. Our stay at your hotel was highly satisfactory. The staff demonstrated a high level of professionalism and courtesy. The breakfast service was of excellent quality.

Clean and conveniently located with helpful staff.

Although the MyHotel section is separate, it shares a building with a related MyOffice space and so access to first floor rooms is not physically closed off for hotel guests only. Courtyard facing rooms look into offices on opposite wing and visa versa. Minor issue but putting the reception desk next to the buffet is odd.
