The location was excellent. Close to the main highway but minimum traffic noise. Only a short walk to the supermarket. No cooking permitted but microwave, toaster and electric jug was all we needed for and evening meal and breakfast in the room. Again easy walk to many eating establishments. These were all listed in the indoor information brochures. There were no staff on premises. Access to room was via txt msg of how to open the key safe beside the front door. That worked fine and I can understand why the cost of the room was lower than other establishments. No on duty staff wages were needed. Any questions were a phone call away.

For a one night stay it was a comfortable residence Maybe a longer tourist stay it may be a bit too cramped.

On arrival, nobody in admin office. A notice on door addressed generically to arrivals, my text to any employee was answered after a 20 minute wait. By then I desperately needed a toilet, and admin sent me a confusing text about entry to my room. My anger eased when in room which was impressively well appointed. However, housekeeping had not looked at the fridge's freezer, which was almost frozen over, and was unusable. I told Housekeeper next morning that fridge needed defrosting.

Good inclusions such as microwave and quality coffee/tea. Parking at your door if you do not have a roof capsule on your vehicle like us....access for height less than 2m vehicle, but also plenty of parking in the street. Nice touch by the hosts to have a map detailing all the local facilities such as takeaways and restaurants all in walking distance.

All good but our toiletries containers were empty of shower gel and hand soap so relied on the hot shower to freshen up. If you are a light sleeper suggest some earplugs as the Newell Highway outside our window carries a lot of heavy vehicle traffic.

I recently stayed at the Country Roads Motor Inn in Narrandera for one night and found it to be a great value for money. The location is fantastic, situated at the top of the main street, making it very convenient for accessing shops and restaurants, all within walking distance. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, which added to the pleasant experience. Despite the inn being on the older side, it has been well-maintained and kept clean. A nice touch was the coffee pod machine in the room, which was a pleasant surprise. Overall, it’s a good choice for a night’s stay when travelling through the area.

This place is a hidden gem. You don’t expect much bar basic & clean in a country town motel - well that is not the case, yes it’s spotless and comfortable but every guest convenience has been thought of, central light control (from bed), good size TV, well provisioned bathroom and absolutely best of all a Coffee Pod Machine, milk (not those awful capsules of milk) and biscuits. Plus a lovely sunny outside spot with table and chairs. I can highly recommend the place

Nothing it was lovely

I made a late booking on Anzac Day 2025 for one night as I was passing between towns and within 10mins I had a phone call & SMS with login to a safe with my key. The room had all the basics, shower was good, bed was good, a work space for my laptop and it was a wonderful price I couldn’t have asked for more since it was a late check in and 8.30am departure. All rooms are ground level.

Nothing thumbs up for me

Conveniently located close to everything we needed, shops, eateries, petrol, racetrack!. It was clean, beds were comfortable and there was plenty of additional blankets and pillows in the closet. The heater kept us nice and warm over night. It was surprisingly quiet in the rooms overnight given how close the main roads are!

Parking is a bit tight when you have a 4WD.

The location was great and the rooms were comfy.

We had to park one of our cars on the road as it didn’t fit under the driveway awning due to the roof rack tent. The parking was a bit difficult with a full house but we managed to work through that. We had trouble with the TV and sent a message to the manager but didn’t get a reply but again, we worked around it.

Excellent details via text message to enter room (key etc). Easy booking. Well appointed bathroom and tea / coffee facilities. Including toaster and microwave. All necessary good quality glasses, crockery and cutlery. Additional pod coffee machine with a few pods nice touch. Spacious room and bathroom with decent towels..

Did not realise road backing up to motel was Newell hway (it had another name as well). Number of noisy trucks during the night made for restless sleep. Bed wheels need breaks as it moved too easily and got wedged under a side shelf. Loose Gravel in parking area making it impossible to drag suitcases on wheels. Heavy to carry.

Great location, and rooms

Noise and no smart tv, didn’t have a light switch to turn on a light as going into room being a solo young female traveler it was concerning coming back to the room at night and not being able to see my surroundings until I’m already in the room as all lights get turned off by staff when they come to clean each day
