Breakfast is really good on a nice terrace

restaurant at the beach closes at 14:30 o’clock. At 15:30 o’clock our room has not been done and the lady at the reception found it quite normal.

Unfortunately at the weekend there is a nightclub beneath it which thumps music out till 6am a real shame

The architecture of this Hotel speaks for it self. This is simply amazing! The rooms are very impressive too.

As it is a 5 Star Grand Hotel I do expect a high level everywhere. Unfortunatley the food was not on this level especially and the Beach restaurant. My Pasta was cold and I asked the waiter if it should be cold or hot and he said " I don't know" this was it. The taste was not good. It is very noisy as there must be a big Disco or something around the corner. I had all windows closed but still the party was in my room. This not the fault of the Hotel but it anoying. Nothing against Disco and partying but it has it limits somewhere.

Good sized room with well equipped bathroom - great shower! Breakfast was fabulous with lots of choice and either on the terrace or in the magnificent ballroom. The location is excellent being very close to the beach and only a shortish walk into town. Particularly liked the availability of bikes to use free of charge.

The 'gym' is hardly a gym as it only has a couple of machines. It would have been good if the hotel had a decent sized exercise room.

Beautiful period hotel with gorgeous decor and extremely fine furnishings. Wonderful pool and parking attendants. Couldn’t do enough for us and so pleasant. Lovely generous breakfast and stunning outside space for drinks in the evening. Sometimes we were steered away from outside and to another area to sit. Very strange but then worked out they may have a function going on. They could have just said but it was a bit cloak and dagger. Room servicing superb, towels changed twice daily and bedding daily. Lovely service in the room.

Too close to the party beach which insisted on heavy base music each afternoon to let everyone know it was open. Stopped after a while but was every day and not in keeping with the beauty of the hotel. Very disappointing and one would hope some arrangement could be made to find a place of mutual respect for each establishment. As for the hotel, what a mix of staff?! Some were absolutely lovely and welcoming and others totally sullen. There was one awful fair long haired woman on the check in at breakfast who was totally stoney faced even when pushed for a smile. We upgraded our room and whilst lovely, a nice small sofa instead of the two upright chairs would have been more comfortable.

Absolutely stunning hotel with stunning remodeling, big bright, comfy, clean room and amazing bathroom. Right across the street from the beach. Gardens are spectacular. The only problem that was very surprising was that the staff was all very spotty and not helpful at all. Very surprising and unusual for Italy. The hotel is really gorgeous and spectacular and a steal of a price. I still can’t believe how inexpensive it is for what you get. Also, the breakfast buffet was so good. It was just really weird that the staff didn’t tell us about it and we had to find it.

The hotel facility is magnificent and the staff are friendly and helpful. Pool and surrounds are great. The hotel is well located, right next to the beach and a sort walk to restaurants and bars. Breakfast offering was good.

Evening dress regulations (particularly long trousers for men) are not really suitable during summer months in a beachside hotel. We consequently spent dollars at external bars. WiFi was a bit hit and miss in the room.

Set in a little park, this lovely historic 19th century building is right near the water, a twelve euro taxi ride from the train station (25 min walk). The setting is elegant without being fussy. The staff was extremely professional, friendly, and accommodating. The breakfast buffet is unparalleled, anticipating British, German, French, and Italian tastes. I also enjoyed lunch at the bar's restaurant. The spa is 120 euro for two hours, but you have the place entirely to yourself. Well worth it! And I also got a terrific deep-tissue massage. The price for drinks for room service was completely reasonable. In addition to the period-style furniture, the room had a huge terrace!

It took me awhile to figure out the shower! In addition to the tea, it would be great if the spa had some kind of cold drink available (and sweetener for the tea). But the biscotti were a nice treat!

Lovely building in a good location with professional friendly staff

It's an old hotel and doesn't have many of the facilities that modern and much cheaper hotels have, eg USB plugs, sound proof doors and digital TVS. Breakfast was average but served but by very friendly helpful staff Upon checking in I was told that I had only booked for one and would have to pay and extra 60 Euros per night for my daughter. Luckily I had my original booking and it showed I had booked for both of us. When I questioned this the hotel agreed and explained that they had simply not looked into the booking in great detail, I was a bit annoyed about this as their simple error may have proven quite costly to me.

It was like walking into a palace. Once the front door opened, there were 6 staff members at the reception desk, all smiling and ready to help. Check in process was swift and easy. Loads of useful information flowed from the staff members. The key was given and off we went to the room. Stayed on the 3rd floor, and the room was a good size. Had partial view from my window. Bathroom was a good size and good water pressure. morning breakfast staff was also all smiles and food was appropriate for an European start to the day. Ambiance was a big factor for the meal setting and it did not disappoint. Seating arrangements and table placement was well thought out. Coffee wand water was always available and the staff were running around making sure everyone felt heard and seen. Spa staff was lovely, as we booked the thermal pool for 2 hours and then a massage. Polite and professional. Overall it was a lovely 2 nights there, and will book it again.

The valet was unavailable during check out on my day. So , I went to grab my own car, not a problem as I found it easily. Just a service that was missed after paying the room charges. Again, no big deal, but others might complain.
