We really loved to stay here, it‘s a pity to go. The staff is extremly nice and friendly. At the pool a guest talked to us and the staff asked us, if we are okay. Our satisfaction was very important for them. We both have a special diet, so it wasn‘t that easy to find a lot for breakfast - but that was because of us. There were different choices and at out last day, we get a special breakfast at the terrace. We loved the background music, the pool bookings were free and so we had relaxing hours. Ortahisar is small, very sweet and a emerging center. We loved beeing at a place that is not overcrowded. All in all: we both wanna come back here and for sure we‘ll stay here again!

This is definitely the best hotel in Urgup Ortahisar! I can't find enough words to describe how kind and polite the staff is. I recommend booking this hotel as soon as you decide to visit Cappadocia, they will welcome you in the best way. You can decide which room you want to sleep in, each room has a different style and can have a pool in it! The food is great and if you don't like Turkish breakfast you can do whatever you want, they will fulfill all your requests, just ask! They really treat you like a king!!!!

We spent 1 nights at Portal Cappadocia and we could not have found a better place. The decoration of the rooms and the set up of the hotel are just fabulous. The lounge has a view over the Ortahisar valley which is quite impressive at night. The breakfast - as mentionned in many reviews - is just incredible, and the staff very attentionate. A perfect place for those willing to avoid some of the crowded villages in the Goreme area.

Room was lovely and the view of Ortahisar Castle was incredible. The deck area was a beautiful place to enjoy a beverage or breakfast- the best I had in 2+ weeks in Turkey. The little pool was a mini oasis.

You do have to reserve the pool, which is quite small- don’t leave it till the last minute!

.Wow, what a fantastic experience at Portal Cappadocia. Every staff member went out of their way to make us feel so welcomed. The views and amenities were incredible. Such a special experience! Would highly recommend.

A lovely property with good facilities and an amazing view. Would highly recommend going to especially if you are driving.

The layout of the rooms could be better but obviously being built into a mountain there is some difficulties

Beautiful place, just like the picture. We stayed in the cave room 204, it was a beautiful experience. Around 6-7 am you can see a lot of the hot air balloons. But is you want to full experience, go to kizilcukur vadisi around that time.

I loved the building, the breakfast and most of all the service. Everyone is very polite and attentive to every need. My son enjoyed hiking to nearby castle trails.
