The hotel is exceptional, its beautiful and well equipped. The spa was phenomenal! Food was good with alot of variety which is nice. A true gem in Cappadocia! Views were amazing, endless rooftop sun spots and also well air conditioned rooms which helped! Rooms tastefully decorated.

Upon checkout, the individual items we had to eat, drink, spa treatments and room service meals weren't named but rather added as "item" so was hard to tell what we were being charged for or to check the bill. Also disappointed I booked a room with a bath and they didn't have one available on arrival so had a shower only.

The hotel was lovely! A great location, comfortable, clean and good facilities. The staff were friendly. Dinner wasn’t included in the price however was great value and the buffet had many choices with great taste. We also had a session of Turkish bath plus massage. The spa facilities were good with a sauna, hamam, jacuzzi and heated seating to lay down after. The rooms were clean, heated well with a fireplace lit upon request and very spacious and comfortable.

Too many stairs! The two restaurants are either on the top or basement floor. Breakfast hot section wasn’t great at all and options were limited but staff were helpful and friendly- no issues there. The spa needs robes or towels! It was freezing moving from one area to another after treatments and the thin muslin wraps are not enough at all!

What a gem! The hotel has an ancient, regal looking zeal to it and it is absolutely stunning! I could not get over the scenery and views from our room. It was just dreamy! The architecture is insanely glorious. The staff was friendly and so so helpful. The food? Divine! We had breakfast and a buffet for dinner and we were just impressed with the variety of options they had. It was quite cold in the evening and we had a bonfire made by the staff. My friends and I huddled around the fire over a delicious bottle of local chardonnay. It was magical.

The extra bed was not comfy at all. A single pull up bed, the hotel can do better.

There are no words to describe how happy I was with this hotel My room was out of this world. Carved into a cave and resorted to perfection I had the king room and it had a large living area that went into a large bedroom and then another big room which was the bathroom. A bath in the bedroom as a bonus Open fire place Spot lights to give it a cosy and romantic feel The hotel itself is breathtaking The swimming pool was a delight after a hot day sightseeing And the restaurant was fantastic too Seriously can't stop thinking about this place

Nothing at all

I really like the room. It was really big. Bed was large enough to accommodate our 5 year old daughter. Aircon helped a lot in heating up the room. Bathroom was spacious with a bathtub. The surrounding area had a mosque, walking distance to a view point. There were few travel companies that offered affordable hot air balloon rides. It was a 5-star experience.

If you want to eat out, there aren't many options available. But we really liked the Pide/Pizza shop nearby (just infront of children playground). But I think for Cappadocia, I would book somewhere in Goreme next time.

The place is incredible, like an old castle, well renovated and very charming. The pool and solarium are pleasant, but the number of sun loungers is limited and the music is too loud. The hotel offers a good breakfast with a wide choice of local products.

Lots of tour groups, restaurant can get crowded when they all go to breakfast. The spa was average, the hammam wasn't open, the jacuzzi was cold and the floor wasn't very clean.

This had to be the coolest hotel I've ever stayed at! It is huge and there are so many different areas you can go and chill at. The pool is awesome, the gym was great, the breakfast was fantastic. The room was really cool as well, large area and a big bathroom with an enormous tub. The location was good and if you need to go anywhere the staff will help you with a taxi. Would recommend to anyone, would stay again!

They did advertise the rooms as having air conditioning, which they did not however they said they were installing it soon. Fortunately, they provided us with an extra floor fan and due to the room being slightly underground, this was enough to keep it cool.

Location is perfect.

Communication: almost no staff speaks english. The breakfast is very good but the staff reduced the serviing to minimum. We got rainy days, it was very cold in the room, without no heating possibility. The Spa: water temperature was very cold,, not enjoyable at all. Steam-room was not working, we asked two times to start it, did not worked.

Beautiful hotel, very peaceful. Very comfortable beds and sunbeds. Ortahisar is very quiet but has a couple of nice restaurants. We had a terrace area near the room which was lovely to relax on in the evenings.

Breakfast was a little stale and samey. Were told we could use sauna and steam room but had to ask multiple times for them to be turned on - it would be good if these were on for a set time of day. Very expensive menu/room service.

A pleasant surprise, a charming atmosphere, an incredible aesthetic and architecture, everything thought out in detail. The staff was very helpful, I enjoyed the Spa which was very relaxing afterwards of a long tour in the day. The breakfast was very complete, and the room was comfortable. I will be back.
